Why Jim Sturman chose Old Naples
The Monet Cottage is an 'old Florida' experience. The house was built in 1949 by a Navy captain returning from World War II. He wanted to replicate a French country cottage. We have renovated and updated the cottage but have kept the house as it would be in the 1950's. The grounds are native Florida plants and huge trees.
What makes this Cottage unique
Our home is one block from the beach. We are two blocks south of the Naples Beach Hotel. Fifth Avenue shops and restaurants are a few blocks away. Our home is close to everything but very quiet and private.

Great stay - lovely house.
Great property - short walk to the beach and close to downtown Naples, plus lovely neighborhood. The house is a charming Naples cottage in every way.
I have been coming for 3 years and will return again.
Owner is a delight to work with. It is truly a perfect getaway.
The Monet Cottage
What a house and what a location! We just walked across the street to the lake to sip a wine before dinner. And most days walked just one block down a curvy, shaded street to the beach!!
Then in evening by bike to 5th Ave or 3rd Street for dinner.
The house is very relaxed, open and sunny. I loved my time there. We'll be back in June!
Our home is located in a quiet neighborhood a few blocks from the Fifth Ave. shopping (many restaurants and stores) and restaurant area on Third Street. Another trendy area is immediately south of us about 20 blocks (Third Street shopping area) with Tommy Bahamas, The Continental, Ridgeways and others.
