Providence Cottage is a Victorian mid terrace cottage located in a quiet residential lane on the outskirts of Cromer, just a short walk away from the centre of the town and its beautiful beach. The cottage has great understated, and rather chic, charm with a very calming and considered decor, with some splashes of beautiful fabrics and wallpaper, all complemented by the artworks of a local contemporary artist with a distinctive style. There are two bedrooms (king size and twin), an open plan living/dining room, a well-equipped modern kitchen and, in keeping with a cottage of this age, the bathroom is downstairs and the stairs are rather steep (not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or toddlers). This is a perfect romantic bolt hole for a couple or two, but equally suitable for a small family with older children. The icing on the cake is the fabulous first floor terrace, with wonderful open views across to the coast in the far distance - just take a seat here and soak up that view, perhaps enjoy a lazy breakfast or share a bottle of wine as the sun goes down. A small offering of local goodies will greet you, to tempt your taste buds and, we are sure, make you keen to explore the local independent stores for more!
Cromer has retained its seaside charm and was recently voted one of the best coastal towns in the UK to both live and take a holiday. All year around there is something to do, whether it's spend days on the beach, play golf, walk the North Norfolk coastal path to Sheringham or Overstrand and beyond, go see a variety show at the Pier (the last remaining pier with a theatre), enjoy the annual Christmas firework spectacular, watch the fishermen come in with their daily catch, sample some of the best fish and chips around or a sweet Cromer Crab. There are some fabulous places to eat both in town and close by, and the National Trust properties at Felbrigg Hall, Blicking and Sheringham Park are only a short drive away
