Brixham is known for its busy harbour which is steeped in history and once a popular target for pirates and smugglers. Visitors can learn more about the town s fascinating history with a visit to the fantastic replica of the Golden Hind or perhaps following in the footsteps of Blackbeard by taking the Brixham Buccaneers Trail. The town s main beach Breakwater enjoys warm waters and is popular with scuba divers as well as beach lovers. For those who want guaranteed safe swimming whatever the tidal conditions the saltwater lido at Shoalstone makes a wonderful place for a dip. On arriving at this property guests will find plentiful parking on the spacious driveway which leads round to the main door at the side of the property. The main living area on the ground floor has a large open-plan lounge/diner which has a comfortable seating area TV DVD feature fireplace and a bay window which affords views across to the bay.
