This property is located above the harbour in the seaside town of Brixham lying across the bay from Torquay on the English Riviera. The town is a great destination for holidaymakers with its bustling harbour offering a range of boat trips several beaches close to the town centre a good choice of eateries a range of shops and even a life-size replica of Sir Francis Drake s ship The Golden Hind. The neighbouring towns of Paignton and Torquay are equally inviting to visitors Paignton with its steam railway and zoo and Torquay with its sandy beaches and upmarket bistros. The owners of this property have thoughtfully modernised this former-fishermen s cottage to create a delightful space with charming seaside touches which remain in-keeping with the property s heritage. A light and airy hallway greets guests off from which lies the first of three bedrooms a pleasant room which can be made up as either a twin or king-size on request. Continuing past the stairs guests find themselves in the lounge a relaxing space with stunning views sash windows exposed floor boards and a TV and DVD which can be enjoyed from the comfy sofas. Carpeted stairs lead down to the kitchen and dining room on the lower-ground-floor. The dining room has been tastefully furnished and has a patio door which opens onto the sun terrace overlooking the harbour. At the opposite end of the space the spacious kitchen has everything that guests will need whether they are making a cup of coffee or creating an elaborate three-course dinner including an oven hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washer/dryer. Going back upstairs and on to the first floor there is a super-king-size bedroom with harbour views as well as a bathroom with bath separate shower and WC. More stairs lead to the top floor where the third and final bedroom can be found a truly special room with double-aspect views a super-king bed and an en-suite shower room with shower and WC. The terrace which is located off the dining room on the ground floor is a fantastic outdoor space which offers unobscured views over the town s harbour from its table and chairs making it the perfect spot for alfresco drinks or dining. There is a private parking space for one car provided just a short walk from the property.
