Elegant hideaway with access to terrace and private garden - lovely view

This two-room apartment is located in one of the most beautiful residential complexes in Menton. It features a private forest, outdoor pool, custodian, elevators and is wheelchair accessible. Quiet location with panoramic views; just a 5-minute drive or 10-minute walk to the sea!

Entryway, bedroom with TV & living room with sofa bed, fireplace and TV, kitchen, bath with tub, separate toilet, marble floors. Garden and terrace with breathtaking seaview in absolute privacy. Wi-Fi, air-conditioned, parking!

The space

We have decorated our family apartment with great taste and a passion for detail; it is not your typical holiday apartment with only the basic necessities for a short stay. The beautiful Avenue Porte de France, which runs along the port and beaches of Garavan, is only a ten-minute walk or five-minute drive away.

The swimming pool of the apartment complex is absolutely wonderful with its view of the sea! It has shower and toilet facilities and is open from May/June until the end of September (depending on weather conditions).

All rooms feature unique furnishings and decor. The bedroom has everything you need: a large double bed with fine linens, TV, air conditioning/heat pump. An elegant marble floor covers the entire apartment. Pink-veined marble also covers the walls in the bathroom, which has a window and bathtub/shower as well as a bidet. The separate toilet (WC) is located next to the bathroom. The kitchen offers every convenience: cabinets, an oven with electric stove, new combination refrigerator/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, iron and all that you need for everyday life. The surprisingly spacious living room has a cozy fireplace and offers magnificent views of the old town and sea, which you can also enjoy in winter thanks to the French window. It’s simply unique!

Both the bedroom and living room are equipped with electric blinds and the ambiance throughout the entire apartment is exceptionally peaceful and quiet.

Guest access

Our guests have access to everything that is not in locked cabinets or behind closed doors.

For bookings of three or four people, we will make sure that the sofa bed is pulled out and made and that the coffee table has been moved to the corner so that our guests can use the apartment as soon as they arrive.

If you would like to park your car within the complex, our parking space is the second from the right. We will send you more information after we have received your booking.

Interaction with guests

Although we usually cannot be there in person, we do have someone in Menton who takes care of check-in/check-out and who can also assist you if you have any questions about or problems with the apartment – from small repairs to tips on what you can do and where you can do it in Menton. This person also takes care of the final cleaning. Of course, you can always call us directly if you have any questions (also in English).

The neighborhood

Cristiana’s home is located in Menton, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France.

The district of Garavan has the advantage that it is very quiet and cooler than the district of Menton located directly on the sea, but it is still very close to the new port and the beaches. It only takes about 15 minutes to walk to the sea, so you don’t have to drive your car. The people who live in the complex love peace and quiet, so you can sleep deeply and as long as you like. But this also means that you must do your part to keep it this way, especially in the early morning hours, during the afternoon rest period (1-3 pm) and in the evenings after 11 pm.

Getting around

The bus stop is only 100 meters away from the apartment complex (to the left when you leave the building) and takes you directly to the city center, close to the market hall and the pedestrian zone (timetable below). You can also take a shortcut down from Boulevard de Garavan at different places to get to the port of Garavan in five minutes. One of the shortcuts is directly in front of the apartment building; another one is a little further on the left.

The new port district of Garavan is located right below the apartment complex. There is a newspaper kiosk with bar, a pharmacy and – not far away from here, just before the beaches – a large supermarket (Marché U), so everything is within walking distance!

The old town of Menton is also nearby, where you will find everything you’d expect from a city on the Côte d’Azur: beautiful baroque churches, narrow streets paved with natural stone, a large pedestrian zone with all kinds of shops, bars, restaurants… and, of course, the recently renovated city market hall – a delight for any gourmet. And, last but not least, a real insider tip for art lovers: the modern new Musée Jean Cocteau, which is already an impressive architectural sight from the outside.

I love my apartment I have taken care of with the help of my family: for this I aspire to rent it to people who look for and appreciate a cozy atmosphere, immersed in the quiet of a spectacular nature!

What makes this corporate apartment unique

The panoramic view from the garden on the old town of Menton is unique ... Being seated on the terrace, or in winter in the living room, and seeing the lights of the old town turn on at twilight allows you to experience an unbeatable peace experience.

In the hot season only the guests of the residence have access to the beautiful pool with sea views. And the first private beaches are approx. 1 km away (50 m of altitude difference), reachable by car in 5 minutes and walking in 15-20 minutes.

The residence is located just above the promenade, without car traffic, in a district of Menton where the air is cleaner and the sun shines longer, in absolute peace, under the palm trees.

Excellent séjour

Vue magnifique ! L’appartement est très fonctionnel, très bien équipé, propre et situé dans une magnifique résidence, avec parking privatif. Le jardin verdoyant et la piscine sont aussi très agréables. Nous avons passé un super séjour, au calme, à proximité du centre ville et de la plage. La location correspond à la description. Nous sommes conquises et nous y reviendrons.

The Garavan neighborhood has the advantage of being quiet and cooler than Menton's promenade, but close to the New Harbor and the beaches. Good step, in a quarter of an hour we find ourselves on the long sea without having to move the car. The condo is inhabited by quiet people, which allows you to sleep well and for a long time ... of course, taking the commitment not to disturb the quiet especially in the early morning, in the afternoon break (13 - 15 h) and in the evening after 23.

100 meters from the house (leaving on the left) there is the bus stop that leads to Menton center, near the market and the pedestrian zone (timetable). In addition, along the Boulevard, downhill shortcuts allow you to walk to the Port de Garavan in 5 minutes (right in front of the house there is one and another ahead on the left). Above Port de Garavan there is a newsagent, a bar, a pharmacy and a little further, at the beginning of the beaches, there is an excellent supermarket (Marché U). Everything in a residential area. But the historic center of Menton is also close to everything you can expect from a typical Cote d'Azur resort: beautiful Baroque churches, narrow stone paved streets, a pedestrian area full of shops, bars, restaurants, not counting the recently restored city market, a true paradise for every lover of good gastronomy ... And for lovers of art a real joke: the modern Musée Jean Cocteau, already out of the blue architectural wonder.
