Piper's Lodge is a great spot for a family break, but equally suited to couples and friends looking to share some time away. Set over three floors, with two bedrooms and a bathroom on each floor, two small families or groups of friends can happily holiday together and still enjoy their independence. On the ground floor, there is a comfortable sitting room, separate dining room, and breakfast kitchen with small utility. An enclosed West facing courtyard garden, with table and chairs, catches the afternoon sun - a lovely place for a drink, meal and catch up chat after a busy day out and about.
And there's plenty to do and see throughout the year. Sheringham is a bustling seaside town, with its own theatre and a good selection of independent shops, restaurants and cafes. Spend a lazy day on the beach or, if you like walking, explore the panoramic coastal path which leads to Cromer one way, and Weybourne the other - you can always let the Coasthopper bus take the strain on your return. Alternatively, take a detour and meander into the National Trust's stunning Sheringham Park. From the town's station, the steam train regularly runs along the pretty Poppy Line to Holt (a lovely Georgian town, with interesting independent shops, galleries and places to eat) or you can catch the train to the beautiful city of Norwich, where you can enjoy a day's shopping, catch a boat to the Broads and explore the Cathedral and Castle.
