Seascape is a beautiful destination- we loved the ocean view from Roberts place!
Check in could potentially take time as there was a line before us checking in but otherwise, the entire stay went smoothly- the room is great with all the basics provided - such a great property with easy access to beach, pool/ hot tub and running/ walking trails - we loved pixie deli in town and nightly sunsets! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time. The check in process was super easy, the owner communication was excellent. The place was so nice pictures don’t tell it all. The place is extremely clean, fully stocked in the Kitchen, to the resort staff was excellent, the food and drinks at Sanderlings was so good. The view from the condo was unbelievable of the ocean, sunsets were breathtaking. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay.
This place is just an overpriced 2 star motel with a view
The front desk and restaurant staff don't have adequate customer service skills. Housekeeping failed to clean our room the entire stay. The owner did not take responsibility for omitting key info in his property listing, namely the smelly location of the suite and no A/C.
The resort is on a bluff overlooking the ocean, with a great beach.
BUT, VRBO won't let me to tell you the suite number we rented, so be sure to ask when reserving if your unit is in the main building, first floor, directly above the propane storage tanks in the open air garage and steps from the resort’s fetid dumpsters. We couldn't believe the smell. Bottom line, the unit we rented was in a terrible location within the resort.
The unit was updated, clean, and well stocked when we arrived.
BUT, housekeeeping neglected to come both days. We had unmade beds, a full trash can, and dirty towels throughout our stay.
The unit has a thermostat with A/C. We had unseasonably warm weather, so we were thrilled to be able to cool the place down.
BUT the A/C was not working! We used a portable fan to push the hot air around the space. We were told by the front desk the A/C is non-functional in ALL THE UNITS! The front desk literally said it was not their problem, and the property owner was supposed to alert us of this fact ahead of time. He did not.
We went to the resort restaurant for breakfast Friday. The nearly empty room is quite large and can seat dozens of guests. Yet we were told we must wait 15 minutes because they had only 2 servers. Two other groups of people were ahead of us had also been told to wait. Being essentially turned away by a resort with a huge, empty restaurant was unacceptable to us.
Finally, we arrived to a flooded floor due to a problem with the fridge. Concerned that I would be accused of causing damage (we were made to purchase a damage insurance policy which caused me suspicion), I texted photos to the owner.
The unit owner phoned me the next day, as well as provided a gift cert for the restaurant. I appreciated his concern for our experience, and I know the resort's poor management is beyond his control. However, he knows full well that there is no A/C in his unit, so he should be more forthright in his VRBO listing.
I'm disappointed our guest was
unhappy with a number of things she experienced during her stay at our unit. The attitude of the staff is something I can't control but during my thirteen years of ownership - it has never been an issue or problem. As far as being forthright about the lack of daily housekeeping - I plead guilty. It was about a year ago, I was informed that the resort doesn't include that service to owner guests unless they pay a $25.00 fee for each service visit. I have included that in my property details as of today. Another issue was the lack of A/C - my property details never implied there was any. In an effort to make it more clear - I have added "No A/C" under Heating in the details of the listing. I'm sure the record breaking heat of that weekend made a lot of guests uncomfortable as none of the other units have A/C either - it rarely gets so hot that the ocean breeze can't cool the units down. The matter about bad smelling odors is something I've never experienced nor had any complaints about from previous guests - that has me puzzled.
This was the 37th review I received since I started booking through VRBO almost five years ago - please take a few minutes to sample any of the previous 36 reviews to get some other perspectives of our wonderful ocean property.
Quick Holiday Trip
This quick trip was perfect for my son and I. The property was perfect and the view is priceless. Will definitely request to stay there again.
