Holidays with your horses!
This area is horse-heaven! Ride out of the field into the woods, cross 1 small road and you are in thousands of acres of Culbin Forest.
Wide-tracks, narrow-tracks, grassy-tracks, sandy-tracks a long hack through Culbin to miles of wide-open deserted beaches.
Nairn beach, 5 miles and Roseisle (12 miles) for wonderful forest and beach rides, Darnaway Forest (2 miles) recently likened by a guest as riding "in Narnia". Use the cross-country course at Burgie Eventing Centre (9 miles).
We can help you arrange a complete itinerary with a taste of everything, such as using the cross-country course at Burgie, guided rides through the forest, private lessons with a wonderful local instructor. For those days you might not want to ride, take a look at some of the many other activities in the area or just relax, read a book, have a glass of wine and listen to the birds.
We offer individual or group turnout, whatever is best for you and your horse at Muirside Farm. The farm is about 500m down the road from the cottage. There is ample space for trailer/lorry parking.
