Alycia is an individual private villa located in a quiet area about 5 min walk from Dalyan. It has 2 double and 2 twin en-suite bedrooms (one double is on the ground floor) each with double wardrobe, balcony and stunning views of either the mountains or towards the Rock Tombs. Plus you can enjoy free displays of storks feeding their young and giving them flying lessons from their nest on a pole right outside the villa. The same pair return every year and unusually, have 3 or 4 young each time, so their behaviour is really spectacular!
The ground floor of the villa is large, cool and open-plan comprising fully integrated kitchen with split level electric oven with grill and gas hob, large fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, etc, cloakroom/toilet, dining area and lounge. The lounge has comfortable chairs and sofas (not sofa-beds), flat-screen TV, satellite receiver, DVD player and iPod dock. All rooms are fully air conditioned, there is a safe for your valuables, satellite TV, DVD player and free Wi-Fi throughout the villa.
Outside is a large covered terrace with dining table and chairs for 8 people. Also a 9 m x 5 m pool and terrace, shower, 8 sun loungers, fixed BBQ, Turkish pergola with table and cushions seating 8 people and a large garden planted to lawn, shrubs, pomegranate, lemon and orange trees.
Outside the villa is one of only a few Storks' nests in Dalyan.

First Class - Way Better Than Anticipated!
Quite simply the best villa we have stayed in. It was spacious, light, clean, and cool. The four double bedrooms were large and each had a lovely en suite bathroom. The lounge, dining and kitchen areas were easily big enough for eight adults and we found we had everything we needed. The pool was bigger than we had expected and very clean and well maintained. The owners thought of everything needed for a relaxing holiday including transfers, a few supplies on arrival, a mobile with local numbers and a folder full of local information. They even arranged for breakfast at the beautiful Golbasi restaurant on the first morning. The manager Isa was delightful., extremely polite and very helpful. He also owns the nearby Cicek restaurant which is well worth a visit. We genuinely have nothing bad to say about this villa and the service we received. We are already planning a return visit in a couple of years.
Beautiful Dalyan Villa
Beautiful villa within walking distance of town centre and river. Comfortable and spacious with lovely verandah and pool area. Highly recommended.
I spent a week here with my sister, 80 year old mother and 15 year old son. The villa was even better than described. The location was private and quiet, yet minutes from the town where you will find an abundance of lovely places to eat and refresh. The villa was spotlessly clean and very spacious. I would go as far as to say one of the best villas I have stayed in, even the lovely pictures do not do it justice. The owners had left a detailed folder with a good deal of very useful information on the area, what to do and where to go and the best places to buy necessities, along with any emergency numbers you may require and information on trips. The boat trips and visit to the mud baths are not to be missed. We also enjoyed a day trip to Fethiye by hiring a private car and enjoyed lunch and the vast market there. A week really isint enough as there is so much to see in the area for all ages and I will definitely be returning. You will not be disappointed with this villa.
Thank you Karen! It's great to get such heartfelt (and unsolicited) feedback. We do all we can to make our guests' visit to our villa a happy and pleasant experience and are fortunate in having a great team out there looking after our guests for us. Alycia is really our family's villa; we only built it in 2011 and never intended to rent it out much, but it's so lovely, we can't stop enthusing about it and suddenly we find it is booked throughout the season by other people who also just can't stop going back!
Beautifully presented luxury Villa
We have just had the most wonderful holiday at this villa, its location is in a quite residential area, just a 10 minute walk from the centre of town, also 10 minutes to the water taxi to the beach (Turtle beach) The local area has so much to see and do. We were welcomed on arrival by Isa who looks after the villa and pool, he also owns a local resturant 'The Safron' just 5 minutes walk and with wonderful views of the rock tombs, lit up at night, we dined there 4 times the food was brilliant. The Villa has 4 good sized bedrooms all on suite, the furnishings are of very good quality inside and out, and the pool was very welcome, it was also immaculately clean. .We went on a couple of trips one on the 'Olive lounge' a trip down the river and out to sea, stopped at some amazing coves for a swim in cyrstel clear waters, we were provided with a sumptuous lunch, chicken and meatballs loads of different salads then later desert- melon ,water melon and a traditional Turkish dessert the hosts were wonderful and we will go on the same trip next year. The other trip was a trip up to the lake and mud baths we rented a small boat that just took our party of six, we were able to stop swim and just listen to the wildlife amongst the reads, another trip for next year. If you like culture, wildlife and also like to party this is the place. The owners are welcoming professional in the way they have set up there website and give plenty of good advice on the surrounding areas and info on the Villa. We cant wait to go again next year.
Thank you Pauline and Stuart.
Thank you Debra for your lovely comments. As you know, we built the Villa as a family 'bolt-hole' and we otherwise only let it out for a few weeks a year.
As you say, say, we are blessed with some wonderful Turkish friends in Dalyan who love meeting our guests; it feels like being part of a huge Turkish family and everyone who goes out to the Villa also becomes 'included'.
Everyone who has been there has commented upon Isa and how friendly, courteous and welcoming he is. Not only does he look after the villa and pool for us and run Safran Restaurant, as you say, he also built our Villa. That's why he feels it is 'his villa' and wants to take such special care of it and its residents. He is a great friend. Debra, we look forward to receiving you at the Villa next year; your booking is already in the diary! Take care, Pauline.
Alycia Villa is located in the outskirts of Dalyan, which is a designated World Heritage Site and still a low-key, unspoilt tourist town. The Villa is only 5 min walk from the town, 200 m from the Dalyan River and has views of the ancient Lycian Rock Tombs; it is also only 4 km from Iztuzu (Turtle) Beach by river taxi. This is a conservation area for nesting Loggerhead Turtles. Beside the Villa is also one of only two storks' nests in Dalyan. Free Wi-Fi in the villa.
There are many wonderful things to do and places to visit: the Sultaniye thermal mud baths, Kaunos ruined city, river trips, river-walking along the spectacular Sakklikent Gorge, sailing around the blue Turquoise Coastal islands and bays, turtles watching, snorkelling and visiting the freshwater Koycegiz Lake. You can choose your own fish in Fethiye Fish Market and have it cooked in your chosen restaurant nearby or browse Dalyan and Ortaca markets.
The villa is also only 4 hrs drive from historic Ephesus & Pamukkale, Turkey's foremost hot mineral spa with its spectacular travertine hillsides.
Other Activities: River-walking, snorkelling, white water rafting, Jeep safari, archaeological browsing, turkish baths, hot springs, mud baths, internet cafe, or just soaking up the sunshine by the villa's beautiful pool.
We are extremely fortunate in having Isa, our villa manager. Isa built the villa for us and still takes a personal interest in it, visiting daily to care for the garden, the pool and and our guests. His wife and her sister clean the villa and between them they also run Cicek Restaurant, one of the best in town.
We also provide a mobile phone for the use of our guests. This contains the numbers of friends whom you can contact in case of emergency, as well as numbers for taxis etc.
For cat lovers we have an adopted cat (or rather we have been adopted by her). Please look after her - she is beautiful!
