Sidmouth is a charming and unspoilt Regency town situated in a valley on the Jurassic coast, just 20 minutes drive from the cathedral city of Exeter. The town has many independent businesses, the most prominent being Fields Department Store, which has been here for 200 years. There are two traditional fishmongers, one in the Marketplace and the other, Sidmouth Trawlers, located in the original fisherman's yard on the Ham - both sell local freshly caught fish. Hayman's butchers , established since 1907, sells award winning locally sourced produce. This is just a small snapshot of the originality and variety available in this unique little place..
