Lofty Haven in Hebden Bridge Centre

Bedrooms 1
Property type apartment
Minimum Stay 2 - 3 nights

About the property

Spacious one bedroom apartment

This is a beautiful, one bedroom apartment in the centre of Hebden Bridge. Light and airy with many interesting beams and angles. Tucked away at the top of a converted hotel, this apartment is a haven of peace and tranquillity. A lift and short flight of stairs provides easy access.

A long hall leads to a huge living room which is flooded with light. There are 2 large, comfortable sofas and a dining table. The TV has Freeview channels and there's a DVD player and a radio. On the bookcase you will find games, jigsaw puzzles, books and dvds. Occasional tables and soft lighting add to the calm ambience.

A short flight of stairs gives access to the quirky, cosy bedroom with hanging rail and plenty of drawer space, bedside tables and lamps. There is also a large desk/workspace area.

Off the hall is the well appointed kitchen with electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, cafetiere etc.

The bathroom has a good shower over the bath and a heated towel rail.

There is a separate utility room with a washing machine and drying lines.

Lastly there's a good sized coat cupboard with storage space for bags and cases.

All in all this is a delightful apartment ideal for one or two people.

About Sharon

My 3 children and I have lived in Hebden Bridge for 31 years. I was a teacher but now have a small, very popular bed and breakfast. Now I'm venturing into the holiday let business.

Sharon purchased this apartment in 2011

Why Sharon chose Hebden Bridge

I bought this property for one of my sons to live in while he was a t university. I have rented it for a couple of years but thought now I'd try something new with it.

What makes this apartment unique

It's a lovely flat, I think I could live there myself if I didn't have so much stuff..!!

Hebden Bridge is a lovely market town in the heart of the Pennines. Known for it's quirky, independent shops and artistic atmosphere, there's always something going on. Almost every weekend will be some festival or other from piano to Burlesque, Steampunk to beer. In June we have a wonderful Arts Festival and the Handmade Parade, which needs to be seen to be believed. We have a fabulous cinema and the very well respected Trades Club, a small venue for live music. There are countless coffee shops, restaurants and bars. And of course glorious countryside and canal on the doorstep! Just up the hill is Heptonstall, a very ancient village often used in tv and films.
