About the property

This recently renovated house is just a few minutes walk from the beach. The cafes, bars, pubs, and restaurants of Hove are a short walk away, and central Brighton is a 10 minute bus ride. The house sleeps 8 adults in four large bedrooms with high quality mattresses. It's the perfect place for a large family get-together, or for friends who want a holiday home by the seaside, or a house from which to explore Brighton or the Sussex countryside. The house has a huge kitchen/diner, massive garden for summer barbecues and al fresco dining, and woodburners for getting cosy in the winter. There's also off-street parking for 2 cars.

A large hallway greets you on arrival, perfect for storing all your shoes, childrens' buggies, scooters etc without them getting in your way. There's a lovely wood-panelled sitting room with woodburner, perfect for lounging in front of a movie or playing board games. There's also a downstairs loo off the hallway.

Walk through double doors into the enormous kitchen/diner/living area. The kitchen comes complete with everything the home cook would want. An oak-covered kitchen island makes the perfect focal point for pre-dinner drinks or preparing a meal. Continue to huge oak dining table which can comfortably seat 10-12 guests. There's also a seating area overlooking the garden, with another woodburner. Solid oak flooring throughout the downstairs give the house a light and airy feel.

Large bifolding doors give great views of the garden. These can be fully opened to bring the outside in and create an enormous space for children to run around. The garden has a barbecue and dining table for enjoying the South Coast sunshine. And a plentiful log store for keeping your fires going.

Downstairs there's also a utility room with washing machine, large sink for washing sandy swimmers after a day at the beach, and drying areas for clothes.

Upstairs you'll find 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor, and 1 enormous bathroom with walk-in showers, his and hers sinks, bath, and toilet. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, the other large bedroom has two cabin beds - with full-size single mattresses that will fit adults comfortably. Extra children can be accommodated on mattresses under these beds, by arrangement. There's also a great view over the garden and 'living roof' - a lovely feature which makes the house unique.

In the loft are two further large bedrooms, one with queen-size double bed, one with two single beds. There's also a further walk-in shower and a separate loo.
