Three bedroom house near the center of the city.

Apartment at the foot of Santa Bárbara Castle, well located, close to the center and with bus and TRAM stops a few steps away.

It has internet, bedding, towels and kitchenware.

Good orientation to enjoy the good weather on the balcony.

Quiet area with all kinds of services in the vicinity.

The apartment has three rooms and capacity for 5 people: a room with a double bed, a room with two beds or a bed and a cot, and the third room with a bed. (the rooms have bedding). A bathroom (with towels), a storage room with toilet, a living room, a large fully equipped kitchen (fridge, oven, ceramic hob, blender, microwave, pots, plates, cutlery, glasses, coffee maker, washing machine) and a south-facing balcony -west, overlooking the castle where you can enjoy the good weather of the city and the occasional siesta. The house is bright, cool in summer and the bedrooms are very quiet. The building has no elevator but the house is on the first floor.

Perfect location, clean apartment

Had problem with hot water but solved very quickly, owners very responsive.

Beds comfortable and plenty of hanging space.

Felt very secure and safe apartment and area.

Just 10 mins walk into old town where we had some lovely meals.

Tram service excellent-we travelled on it many times, cheap and on time.

San Juan beach is beautiful and very easy to get to, the sun beds are much much cheaper than town beach.

City Break

The owners of the property, Lola and Jose, were very efficient and answered all queries before our holiday promptly. They both met us at the apartment on our arrival and were really helpful in giving us helpful and necessary information. The apartment itself was clean and very well equipped. It is situated within walking distance to both the old town and the commercial centre of Alicante, though there was also a frequent bus with a stop just near to the apartment. The old town has plenty of restaurants and bars to enjoy, and the port and promenade make for a very pleasant stroll, especially in the sunshine. The apartment is also conveniently located near to the Marq tram stop if you wished to travel further afield. We visited the town of La Vila Joiosa, which has a colourful old town to walk around. There are supermarkets within walking distance, one which opens late and (though there is a bit of a hill to climb on the way back) and the other situated in a nearby shopping centre, a ten minute walk away. We had a really enjoyable, relaxing time in Alicante and would recommend this apartment as a good base to explore the city.

A 10 minute walk is the PLAZA MAR 2 shopping center, with stores such as ZARA, H & M, BIMBA AND LOLA, DAY A DAY, cinemas and multiple restaurants. Within walking distance you can perform various cultural activities: MARQ archaeological museum, Las Cigarreras Cultural Center, Auditorium, MUBAG art museums and MACA. The nearest TRAM station is 5 minutes walk away. The TRAM connects the city of Alicante with the Playa de San Juan and all the coastal towns of the north of the province of Alicante (El Campello, Villajoyosa, Benidorm, Altea or Denia). We offer advice for hiking trails in the province and know its landscapes.
