Crowlas Cottage Rental Photos and Description

The Old Primary School was built in approx. 1875 and is a fine example of a Victorian school house. It was converted for holiday accommodation in 2000 and the décor, facilities and services have been updated regularly.

Both the Cottage and Apartment have dedicated private parking and private entrances. There is separate wi-fi networks for each property, which are both strong and fast. Each property enjoys fantastic views and there is a very large shared garden with picnic tables, bbq, loungers and other amenities. Guests remark on the great location of the accommodation, with easy access to all the spectacular sights around the area. The building stands alone and surrounded by fields, but is only 200m from the village. The village is very picturesque and has an old Norman church and the village pub serves very good food and drink. Approximately 800m down the road is the village of Crowlas which has a convenience store and pub. All bedding and towels are provided, and the kitchens are well fitted out. Stacey and Steve have provided just about everything you would need for a great stay.

Perfect property

Lovely location and very well equipped. Beautiful views, quiet, clean and comfortable. Everything needed for an enjoyable stay was provided, down to washing up liquid!

Local pub nearby, good parking area and nice gardens. Not far from a bus route to take you to St Ives (avoids the nightmare of parking) or Penzance.

Beautiful setting and ideal location.

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay in your property which felt roomy and light. The views were amazing and the location ideal to explore West Cornwall in particular. The owners provided everything we needed to have a very homely stay, in fact it felt like home from home. It was very clean. Arrival and departure were managed well and we were undisturbed throughout our entire stay. The owner was polite and helpful and we would definitely come and stay at your property again.

One thing that would have improved the experience would be if the house was aired as it had a 'closed up' smell. An air freshener would have made it completely perfect.

Owner's Response: We're really pleased that you enjoyed your stay and thank you for the great review. Regarding the last remark, the cottage is fitted with the latest heat recovery ventilation system which constantly replaces the air in the building with fresh air from outside warmed by the heat recovered from the stale air expelled from the building. I will arranged for an engineer to carry out a service on it. Thank you for mentioning it.

the primary school is situated in a village nicely away from the hustle of Penzance ,but close enough to easily access buses and be in town quickly, whilst being peaceful and near the countryside for walks. the building is well appointed throughout and very cosy ,with great views.
