We're just back from a wonderful week at your fabulous house. What a location, everything so accessible and we even had good weather! I'm so glad we found Hillview on the internet search and hope to be back sometime.
We all had a great time - it was the perfect place to have a family get together.
All 12 of us had a wonderful break at Hillview House. It is extremely spacious and we had plenty room in the living and kitchen areas, whilst were able to "escape" to our rooms for a rest too! The local shop was friendly and well stocked, and the Cawdor Tavern was lovely for a special meal out. Both were within a minute's walk from the house. That said, it was such a peaceful location, no traffic noises at all. Great for dogs with a wooded walk a few minutes away on foot. Lots to do in the general area (Culloden, Fort George, Cairngorm funicular, Inverness, and Nairn beach to name a few!) and an excellent location for cyclists and walkers. Highly recommended! Thank you for a great time!
We were a large party on a family vacation. We arrived and were delighted with the house and the gardens.
Plenty of room and privacy even with 9 of us in the house. Location in the town of Cawdor was so perfect we were all sad to leave. The addition of the sun room was perfect as we could sit out late and not bother the neighbours with our chatter. Hope to return and spend another week.
Cawdor Village, nestled between the scenic Highlands and the spectacular Moray Coast makes an ideal place for either a relaxing peaceful break or an active, outdoor holiday all year round. With its good travel links and mild climate Nairnshire has attracted visitors from home and abroad, families to film stars, both in the past and present. The area has a huge diversity of beautiful scenery from mountains, moorland, rolling farmland to woodlands and a stunning coastline with rocky coves and long sandy beaches.

The beautiful Moray Coast is just five miles away: the Moray Firth is famous for being home to one of only three populations of bottle nose dolphins in the UK.
Twelve of the Highlands' top twenty visitor attractions are within an hour's drive of this superb self-catering house.
Golf: Over 30 golf courses in a 60 mile radius. Many outstanding courses close by, from championship courses in Nairn, Forres and Dornoch to smaller undiscovered gems all along the Moray Coast.
