A great town home, just slightly outside the core of Old Bruges, but still within the historical district. Only 10 minute walk to the central market, town square etc.
Quiet location. Two very nice restaurants nearby (must make reservations at Mojo). Pomperlut had delicious Mediterranean menu (and gorgeous interior design).
Free parking just ten minute walk away across canal.
Thank you Darren for taking care ! All the best Isabelle
Lovely location in the stunning town of Bruges. Plenty of space for our 3 kids on the 3rd floor and us in the master. The washer and dryer were helpful! We didn’t want to leave!
Thank you !
Great part of town 👍
Good enough to bring your wife LOL - All easy to found - we would stay again
Welcome again in Parkhuisje !
The apartment was clean and well furnished in an excellent location. The host responded quickly to all of our questions.
Very Good Place to Stay in Bruges
Parkhuis is very nice. The apartment is well-designed, well-equipped and quiet. We loved the fireplace heating. Unfortunately it was just a bit too cool for us to use the outdoors area in the back. The bedroom was large enough and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom has lots of space for toiletries, etc. The space in the shower is on the tight side but the shower itself is very well designed, to use either in a fixed position or hand-held. Minor quibble: No washcloths. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Having a washer and dryer was a godsend for us. It’s worth noting that, as is often the case in Europe, washing takes a long time. We appreciated that city maps as well as other information on Bruges were provided (albeit in Flemish, but it was easy to pick up material in English at the tourist information center). One thing not provided that would have been very helpful was information on where the closest grocery/supermarket, bakery, restaurants and the like are located. For us, Parkhuis was a bit further from the city center than we would have liked but we’re on the older side and walking to and from the center a couple times during the day was a bit much. But overall we give Parkhuis high marks.
This is a beautiful place. We really enjoyed our stay.
We didn’t have trouble navigating the stairs but they are narrow and steep.
For me it added to the charm.
