About David Walker
Moved to Scottsville to enjoy the peace and quiet of the country life with the conveniences of town only 10 minutes in either direction (10 miles from I-65). We're just West of Scottsville, Ky., East of Bowling green, Ky. (home to Western Kentucky University), and North of Nashville. My wife and I are Spanish Interpreters, great location if you speak Spanish (si se habla Espanol) or if you want a weekend of immersion training! The cabin is close to the Corvette Museum, :40 minutes from Mammoth Cave and Cave City, :45 minutes from Nashville. In addition, Western Kentucky Univ boasts a beautiful campus with plenty of events to choose from, USA Football Conference Champs and a fantastic Lady Topper Basketball Team! Come and stay with us for family day(s) or key family events on campus or in the community; holidays, extended weekends, special events, or just to get away. Try our farm fresh eggs and a Venezuelan style breakfast as part of your stay, you may not want to leave.

Casual and Quiet Cabin with Wonderful Food and People
The cabin is a cozy space with a great outdoor screened porch for enjoying the sounds of nature. We spent 3 days exploring Kentucky and Tennessee from this cabin. The quiet mornings with coffee and a light breakfast was a great way to start a day of exploration and the end of the day brought us back for dinner and relaxation on the porch.
A Piece of Heaven
Don’t miss this opportunity to stay in a beautiful place with wonderful people!

Relaxing Farm Setting
This clean and comfortable cabin was perfect for our needs. It is on a beautiful piece of property with friendly hosts who were very accommodating. It's easy to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the farm. The only demand on you may be made by a tabby cat or border collie presenting you a belly to rub. It's a small price to pay. Only a few minutes from the main highway. Would recommend to anyone. The Walkers treated us very well. We'll likely return.
A wonderful experience!
If you are looking for an alternative to staying at a hotel I recommend you stay at the cabin instead. The Walkers were very hospitable and respected our privacy while we stayed with them. I would like to mention that the cabin is relatively small and I would only suggest a small family to stay there. I took my daughter and her friend to an WKU basketball game one Saturday and the cabin was accomdating to our needs but I think a larger size group would not have enough room to move around in. If you choose to stay here please be mindful that their is no internet or tv to watch. This was a welcome change for me as it brought back memories of simpler times when the family would sit on the porch and talk, I hope this review helps in your decision making. The cabin was very clean and everything you would need to cook with was available for us to use.
Quaint and Charming Little Cabin
We met with family at this cute little cabin to celebrate Christmas. We really liked that it was out in the country, had lots of outside space to play in, had a beautiful wrap-around screened porch, had natural hardwood floors, and was nice and clean. The girls loved the quaint low ceiling loft to hang out in. The only things that weren't perfect were the owner's home being directly across the driveway, being asked to take off our shoes inside the cabin (not mentioned in the listing), not having any pot holders, small kitchen/dining area which also had to serve as a gathering area (already knew ahead there was no family room), and running out of toilet paper. We enjoyed the added bonus of visiting the farm animals. Overall, we had a splendid time in this charming little cabin.
