Grievegate Cottage - Delightful one bedroom character cottage located in the picturesque village of Leasgill. Sleeps two and dog friendly (one dog). The cottage has recently been refurbished and is extremely well presented in a private elevated position with outstanding views to the Lyth Valley. Situated in the grounds but separate from the owners home. The cottage has modern facilities and luxury fittings throughout. The cottage comprises of One bedroom with King Size Bed, fitted wardrobes, luxury shower room, fully fitted modern kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, double oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge freezer, lounge/dinning room with electric effect log burner, TV, DVD, Music system, Cloakroom with heater. Please note this is a non smoking property. There is a dog friendly pub within walking distance (20 minutes) or 5 minute drive.

On the Lancaster to Keswick Bus route and a short drive from Junction 36 of the M6 motorway and Oxenholme Railway Station. Arnside, Silverdale, Grange and Cartmel are a short drive away. Within walking distance of Levens Hall and Park. The nearest Pub is a 20 minute walk (Dog Friendly) or 5 minutes in the car. Milnthorpe is 2 miles away with restaurant, cafe, supermarkets, bank, butchers, garage and many other shops and takeaways. Market Day is Friday. The Market Town of Kendal is 6 miles away and Kirby Lonsdale is a 15 minute drive.

We could not have been happier with the cottage, it is absolutely lovely. Everything you could possibly need and more was provided. The bed was comfy, the shower room fantastic, the kitchen was immaculate and the lounge area was superb. What more could you ask for ?

If you are looking to stay in this area we would highly recommend this holiday home.

Superb clean and modern cottage, excellent value

This cottage exceeded our expectations, it was very clean and tidy and lots of items provided with a personal touch. Everything was thought of what we may need for our stay.

We have loved staying here and will be back again. A home away from home in a lovely village.

Perfect accommodation and location

Absolutely perfect weekend break.

The accommodation was lovely for a relaxing break. We could really tell it had recently been renovated to a very high standard. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for the weekend. The location was perfect with stunning views, lots of local attractions including a dear park and great pubs to visit. Also a very easy drive to Windermere, Ambleside and Grasmere which we chose to visit.

All in all, I would highly recommend this cottage and we cannot wait to visit again.
