I was here visiting Paris with my mom. It’s a cute place. Just a couple of things it took me a while to figure out the shower and the mattresses were a bit to firm. But outside of that, it was a great stay and the view was AMAZING!
Visite avec vue
L'appartement était tel que décrit, confortable et très bien situé. La vue sur le centre de Paris est exceptionnelle.
scene was perfect
We had a great time in paris. Location for this property was great. The property was ok but the best part was the view was amazing.
Great place to stay whilst you explore Paris
Convenient to all attractions, and the metro. Clean and tidy.
Perfect Paris stay!
We can not speak highly enough of Maurizio's beautiful flat! So artfully decorated and wonderfully appointed with everything we needed to feel at home. Great location- we were able to walk, bus or Metro everywhere we wanted to go. Great neighborhood with plenty of shops, restaurants, bakeries and marches close by. Madame Durjaud was very warm, welcoming and helpful. And the real show stopper was the view! After long days of exploring the streets, parks, cafes, museums and beauty of Paris we would come back before sunset to sit on the terrace with a light dinner and watch the sun fall on the skyline of Paris. Watching the Tour Eiffel twinkle, Montparnasse tower shine, Notre Dame light up- simply stunning! We hope to stay there again one day!
The apartment is a short walk from Pere Lachaise and near the place République and the place Bastille.
Père-Lachaise Cemetery is reputed to be the most visited cemetery in the world, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors a year to the grave sites of artists and writers. The cemetery is a veritable roll-call of the great and good who have illuminated all facets of French and Parisian life over the past 200 years or so.
The area has many bars and restaurants in the Rue Oberkampf and surrounding streets. Oberkampf's southern extremities are resolutely chic – especially in the 3rd, where ever-gentrifying streets around Rue Vieille du Temple are awash with designers on the rise and old craft workshops. The district is typical of the trend, with smart boutiques that rub shoulders with art galleries. In this part of town, those in the know head to the Marché des Enfants Rouges, the city's oldest market (dating back to 1615), lined with food stalls each more fragrant than the next. With Bus lines 61 and 69, and Métro line 2 and 3 within walking distance, the appartement offers easy access to Montmartre, Les Halles, to the promenade of the Ile Saint Louis and the Ile de la Cité and Champs-Élysées districts.
Closer to home is located the station with the rent of bicycles (Velib) and the station with the rent of elctric cars (Autolib) and a square with a playground. Ideal also for a family.
