Beautiful, tranquil and perfectly located!

  • 5 of 5

We had such a fantastic time at Cascade Lodge in Narberth it was exactly what we were looking for, a relaxing, quiet base from which to explore Pembrokeshire. The lodge it self is immaculately clean with a lovely balcony area where you can sit and eat or have a glass of wine and watch the stars. The lodge park it is located in is nice and quiet with good distance between lodges so private if you want it to be.

Narberth itself is a cute little town with lots of places to eat and drink (pubs were slightly disappointing but adequate!) Narberth museum is fun for an hour or so and there are lots of little crafty shops to look around in.

It is the perfect base for exploring Pembrokeshire, nowhere seemed to be more than 40 minutes away! Tenby is a 20 minute drive, Pembroke and Laughanne 30 mins, Solva and St Davids about 40 minutes (all of these places were fantastic!). Also it is about 10 minutes drive to Folly Farm which was fantastic! Would recommend even if you don't have kids (which we don't!).

We had a fantastic time and would definitely visit again. The weather we had was fantastic most of the time but we had one very rainy day where we spent most of the day in the lodge and it was very cosy and relaxing to just curl up and read a book looking at the rain out of the window.

Overall it was a perfect holiday, exactly what we needed and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Thank You for having us!

well appointed and extremely clean.

We are delighted with the lodge and the surrounding area. Narberth is a lovely market town with a good range of shops and cafes, yet feels largely untouched by holiday makers. The lodge itself is situated in a quiet valley and is about 20 minutes walk from town using a public footpath from the site. It is well appointed with an extremely well equipped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher. I would recommend Cascade Lodge as a great base from which to explore Pembrokeshire.

Good location, good price, good accommodation!

  • 5 of 5

Cascade Lodge is very near to Narberth, a lovely small town with some excellent local shops (we loved the pottery and vintage clothes shops). It is also well placed to explore West Pembrokeshire - we loved the Bosherton, Broadhaven, Barafundle, Marloes area with beautiful beaches and spectacular coastal walks. Sadly didn't spot any otters but did see rare choughs.

The Lodge was immaculately clean, well equipped and comfortable. Excellent value for money.

The owner was very helpful - prompt responses to queries and trouble free arrangements. Thanks for Welsh cakes!
