About Noriko Middlebrook
Thanks for visiting our page, and we will look forward to welcoming you to 'The Old Woodyard'. I moved to Yorkshire in 1994 from my native Japan, with the intention of staying for the duration of my University course.................and (well) I am still here. This County is breath taking, a place where I have raised my family and is now very much a part of my fabric. I hope you enjoy the experience, and leave with a small piece of Yorkshire in your heart' - Noriko

We had an absolutely amazing time in Marsden for my boyfriend's 30th birthday. I loved the thoughtfulness of the birthday banner, cake and bottle of fizz. The bread and milk were also really helpful. The views from the house are absolutely stunning and there are loads of lovely walks nearby. The outdoor space was lovely with a bbq and hot tub looking out onto the hills nearby. Cannot fault the place, thank you so much!
Excellent facilities & stunning location
Great time had by all for a family 30th Birthday celebration ..lovely touches on arrival fresh bread, milk & prosecco!! Love to return sometime would definitely recommend.
Stunning house and location
We have just returned from a lovely weekend away in this amazing house! Highly recommended. Our party consisted of 6 adults and 4 children, and every single one of us enjoyed the stay. The hot tub just adds that little bit of extra luxury which went down very well. Thank you!
House was immaculate. Really gorgeous surroundings. 10/10.
The wood yard
Excellent accomodation, super views, within walking distance of village with all amenities. Excellent hosts highly reccomend.
Fab weekend celebrating my birthday. The house was beautiful and spacious and care had been taken to make sure all you needed was there. Little touches such as cake bread and prosecco were a welcome treat.
The hot tub is great although we did struggle to cover and uncover. How many ladies does it take to remove a hot tub lid 😂😂 caused a few giggles it's a good job you can't be seen from the passing trains!!
Yes the train line is close. It's it noisy...no. Scenery is stunning, walks along the tow-path to the village.
Would definitely recommend this property.
