Front-line, beautiful Studio apartment, with wonderful sea and mountain views. The property is situated on the second floor and overlooks the promenade and beach, with views of the swimming pool. The studio has easy access onto the promenade and less than a one minute walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. It is very light and bright and extremely well equipped providing everything you require for your holiday.
There is a fabulous community swimming pool and children’s pool, gardens and tennis courts for you to enjoy.
The studio is equipped with a high specification air conditioning unit, which both cools and heats, for your comfort. In addition there is a free standing fan.
To keep you in touch with home and work or for your entertainment, Wi-Fi is provided free of charge.
There is satellite TV showing many English, Spanish and German channels, with a Sony surround sound DVD player, IPod docking station with built in radio and alarm. This affords you the option to have a great night in if you simply want to kick off your shoes and put your feet up.
You will also find a small library and a number of board games for your enjoyment. In addition there are numerous DVDs to watch.
The studio is less than a 2 minutes walk to the main bus station and there is ample parking right next to the apartment building for a car. From the bus station you can ride to Torre Del Mar or in the opposite direction to Nerja, or anywhere in between. You are also able to travel into Malaga City.
Next door to the bus station is a taxi rank, and the studio is within a 3 minutes’ walk of the library and tourist office.
There is a mini market in the adjacent building and less than a 5 minute walk to major supermarkets, including Aldi and Lidl.
Detailed description by room
In the main living area you will find the following:-
A very comfortable sofa converts extremely easily into a single bed. The bedding for the sofa bed is stored in a cupboard below the TV.
There is a comfortable arm chair with a matching foot stool and throws on both, two small tables with a lamp, and iPod docking station.
The air conditioning unit is above the TV and provides heat and cool air throughout the studio. The handset is attached to the right hand side of the TV cabinet. Here you will also find operating instructions.
A large corner unit houses a small library and a range of board games. On here you will also find a vanity mirror, a cocktail set, four oversized dinner plates with placemats and coasters, and other decorative items. Alongside this unit is a shelf with a fruit bowl and other ornamental objects.
On the TV unit is the satellite box, DVD player and a range of speakers for the surround sound. The handsets can be found on top of the DVD player, and the operating instructions are in the newspaper rack below.
Off the main living area there is the covered terrace, which forms the main dining area and opens up the fabulous views.
The windows fully open to allow fresh sea air to flow in and to enable you to hear the sound of the sea. There are metal shutters fitted to each window, which help control the amount of sun you wish to allow into the studio.
In the bedroom area you will find the following:-
A double bed with mattress and pillows including protectors. There are two bed-side tables with lamps. There is a large wardrobe with plenty of hanging and shelving space. In the corner wardrobe are an ironing board and clothes maid. In the drawers below the wardrobe are pool towels and extra bath towels.
Under the bed is an ideal place to store your empty suitcases.
There is a window onto the terrace area which can be tilted for a comfortable air flow.
Above the headboard are additional bed throws and extra pillows.
There is also a set of curtains to provide a little privacy, should it be needed.
In the kitchen you will find the following:-
A fully equipped kitchen area including a large free standing fridge freezer, a combination oven, microwave and grill and a separate ceramic hob, kettle, toaster, and coffee maker.
In the cupboards you will find all the usual items you would expect including a wide range of crockery, glass ware, oven ware, cutlery, tea pot, mugs, pans, baking trays, plastic containers, condiment sets, tea towels, etc. The kitchen has everything necessary for you to prepare great meals should you feel inclined to do so.
In the bathroom you will find the following:-
A shower and large corner shower cabinet, a sink unit and bathroom cabinet for additional storage including a first aid box, numerous rails for hanging towels and a washing machine and hair dryer. Instructions for easy use of the washing machine are up on the wall for your convenience. This also means you can pack light and make use of the washing facilities.
In the hall and broom cupboard you will find the following:-
Here you will find a long brush, dustpan and brush, mop and bucket, peg box, iron, a cool bag for shopping, a small cool bag for the beach and a range of cleaning materials for your convenience.
A clear folder containing all the necessary operating manuals for the electrical appliances is available for your convenience.
For your safety
There is a fire extinguisher in the hallway should it ever be required and a first aid kit in the bathroom.
There are three lifts for easy access to all floors. As this is a residential block with private owners there are community rules and these will be on the back of the front door for you to peruse.

Fantastic Location, Brilliantly Well Equiped
Excellent apartment in a fantastic location with everything we needed. You couldn't be any nearer the sea without getting your feet wet ! Excellent accommodation, equipped to a very high standard. Lovely Time in Torrox Costa
Gail and Geoff were wonderful hosts. Their studio apartment is perfect for a stay at Torrox Costa. The apartment was very clean and they had it set up and decorated to meet all our needs and more. They were very welcoming upon our arrival and walked us through any building guidelines. Only trouble we had was signing my iPhone onto the WiFi. My husband’s android though had no trouble. Thank you very much Gail and Geoff, if we are ever back in your area we would stay at your studio apartment again. Take care.

Torrox Costa Torrox Costa is a wonderful Spanish coastal resort, with a long promenade (Paseo Maritime) full of bars and restaurants. It is a 50km trip from Malaga Airport or roughly a 45 minute drive. It has the accolade of ‘The best climate in Europe’, ‘El Mejor Clima de Europa’, which is its tag line, as it boasts the best average climate and hours of sunshine all year round. The average days of sunshine per year are 320 and the average temperature is 18°C. With these very mild winter temperatures, it makes it a suitable resort all year round. And possibly the reason why it is a meca for growing avocados, mangos, figs and many other scrumptious fresh fruit and vegetables. On the hillsides it is possible to see an abundance of vineyards and olive groves, and local wines and olive oil is widely available. Torrox Costa also has the remains of a Roman necropolis which can be seen just by the lighthouse. Being next to the sea, Torrox Costa offers many delicious fish dishes and its speciality is sardine on kebabs (espetos) cooked over burning olive wood to give it extra flavour. Most restaurants also offer high quality meats cooked on a barbeque. (barbacoa) During the summer market stalls set up along the promenade offering a range of items for sale. Some of the best sunsets and sunrises in the area can be enjoyed whilst sitting on the sea front and taking in the views. Torrox Costa is made up of a number of beaches. The three closest to the apartment offer their own unique experience. Ferrara Playa, the largest containing the promenade is directly in front of the apartment; Playa de El Peñoncillo, is a long beautiful pebble beach, which is a little quieter, with some super fish restaurants and Playa del Sillon, is sandwiched between the two, almost in front of the lighthouse and has a stunning cove and a very natural feel. Off the main promenade you will find many more restaurants and some great tapas bars. There is a weekly market on Mondays offering local produce and many gift items. Torrox Pubelo Is a pretty white-washed village a few kilometres inland from the coast. The region is known as the Axarquia and surrounded by the mountain regions of the Tejeda and Almijara. It was a very important village under Moorish rule due to its role in the silk trade between Granada and places such as Baghdad. Although today people from many nationalities live in the village it still holds a very authentic Spanish feel. Torrox celebrates many fiestas with the most famous and popular, the Migas Fiesta, held on the last Sunday before Christmas, when more than 40,000 people visit the town for celebrations including migas cooked in huge paella pans, local wine, dancing and singing. There are also numerous flamenco evenings throughout the summer. There is an annual car rally event, local fair, and many religious festivals to enjoy. The village also holds its weekly market on a Monday where fresh produce is available in abundance. Other local towns and villages There are many other lovely villages and towns close by that can be easily reached by car or bus. Such as Nerja, Frigiliana, Competa, Velez Malaga, Torre del Mar, and La Caleta de Velez, with a marina and fishing port, amongst many others. We can provide more details and links to these places if you wish to visit them during your stay. Local activities There are a wide range of activities to undertake depending on the time of year. These include golf, tennis, horse-riding, wind and kite surfing, boat trips, mountain biking, road biking, hiking, fishing, snorkelling, water skiing, para-sailing, rock climbing, quad and motorbike riding amongst others. In the winter it is possible to ski for the day and make it back down to the coast for dinner. There is a large shopping mall in Torre del Mar, which has many recognisable stores and a cinema complex, which does show films in English. Across from the shopping mall is a water park. We can provide more details on most activities, but most companies advertise on the internet. Further afield All within a two to three hour radius are the famous cities of Granada, Cordoba, Seville, the Sierra Nevada ski resort and Gibraltar and local companies offer trips to visit these places. Malaga City is also a fabulous place to visit, with its many museums, Malaga cathedral, the Alcazaba, the castle of Gibralfaro, a wonderful port with shops, bars and restaurants, and so much more. There are frequent buses from Torrox to Malaga daily.
