Quiet, yet only 2 minutes walk to beach, restaurants and shops

Pretty chalet, self-catering and close to all amenities. It is located in a residential area and is therefore private yet is very close to the beach and sea. The chalet is perfect for couples or a family group and has a private garden and patio area with BBQ and sun loungers for relaxing and enjoying a pre-dinner drink.

There is parking directly in front of the chalet if a car has been hired.

  • The full bathroom on the third floor has bath with shower over and window. The second bathroom situated on the lower floor has a shower enclosure and is ideal for those who may prefer not to have to take stairs.

  • At ground level is a double bedroom ( small double bed (135 x 190 ) with small separate shower room, perfect for privacy if staying with a family group. On the third floor are two more bedrooms, one double and one twin. The double room has picture windows overlooking the beautiful bay of the port, whilst the twin room overlooks the rear patio. Also on this level is the main bathroom with bath and shower.

This light and airy chalet is situated very close to the promenade of the Port and all its amenities. The property is on 3 floors and is very spacious whilst being typically Mallorcan in style. The beach is only a couple of minutes walk away. The chalet is equipped with centrally heating and with fans throughout. From the kitchen is an outside patio and garden, ideal for quiet pre-dinner drinks and dining. A further balcony leads from the lounge where there are spectacular sea views. Please note there is Satelite Tv which is mostly german and 1-3 english news channels.

Schönes Häuschen mit tollem Ausblick

Wir haben 8 Tage in diesem Chalet verbracht mit 2 Kindern im Alter von 15 und 17 Jahren.

Die Unterkunft hat alles was man braucht zum Selbstversorgen und aber auch jede Menge schöner Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Kleinere und trotzdem recht preiswerte Supermärkte sind ebenfalls problemlos zu Fuss zu erreichen und man ist in 5 Minuten am Stand und Hafen. Die Wohnungsvermittler sowie der Vermieter selbst sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Internetverbindung funktionierte immer gut (was vor Allem für unsere Kids sehr wichtig war :-) ) Auf der geräumigen Terasse kann man grillen und auf dem Balkon abends noch lange die Sonne und die Abendstimmung genießen. Das einzigste kleine Manko waren die Hunde der Nachbarn die zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit immer mal wieder bellen. Von Port de Soller aus kann man viele Ausflüge ohne PKW starten und wir haben die ganze Zeit über kein Auto vermisst, da man mit Buss und Schiff viele Ziele erreichen kann. Insgesamt ein gelungener Urlaub.

Port de Soller is a traditional Mallorquan port with many different fish restaurants, amongst which Es Raco situated in the Santa Catherina area, is counted as one of the best. The port has two separate beaches both suitable for children with various cafes and bars close by. The port has numerous interesting shops selling typical Mallorcan goods amongst which is the Tia Tula situated in Jaime Torrens where you can purchase beautiful gifts to take home. Port de Soller is also famous for its quaint, wooden trams which go from the Port to Soller along a fascinating track. The area is well known with climbers and walkers who come here to walk the magnificent mountain range. Not far from the Port is the town of Soller which has many interesting buildings and has a beautiful square surrounded with cafes and bars. Also in the area is the historical mountain village of Fornalutx which is well worth a visit to sample the local mountain food.
