Soon the oak is an estate of eighty acres made of cherry or nuts orchards and mostly from secular woods of wild chestnut. The environment is an extraordinary refuge for deer, wild boars and many other wildlife and for a whole range of native tree species. This exclusive natural environment makes it a unique and unique place, immersed in nature.
The accommodations were made in a farmhouse and in a small barn. The characteristic of the house and its furnishings is to offer our guests the informal reception of a private home, an old family home and not a place of passage.
Because of its unique geographical position it is definitely an ideal starting point for art cities and a special place for rest and rest when returning. It is a few kilometers from San Gimignano (11km), Volterra (22km) and Certaldo (Km 10).
For those who want to do sports in the open air, trails that lead into the woods open up in the estate, allowing long hiking and biking. You can look for mushrooms and chestnuts, but also relax with a good book in the shade of secular lettuce or by the pool.
Nearby there are also two riding stables and a beautiful 26 hole golf course.
We also have the option to rent the entire structure including the depandance.
The farmhouse, called by us Il Leccio, is suitable for all seasons and boasts large size as well as the imposing and secular tree from which it takes its name and stands close to the park.
The Leccio is set on two floors, with 7 double rooms, including 4 doubles and 3 with twin beds. One of them is located on the ground floor with a private bathroom, while the others have two shared bathrooms, plus three of them have access to the rooftop terrace. Three of the double rooms allow the addition of a third bed.
There are 7 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a large living room with a fireplace, a dining room, a kitchen with a fireplace and an annexe room.
And to enjoy the home in the open air and arrange breakfasts and dinners, refreshed by the sparkling Tuscan air, there is a large outdoor veranda furnished and with the use of barbecue. So after having rest and enjoying a relaxing breakfast or an open-air lunch, you can indulge in your favorite sport or enjoy a good book in the shade of our majestic leccio.
