The Acre Bwlch is the south facing wing of a very spacious family house set in two acres of it's own private grounds. With views down the Usk valley. Perfect for a relaxing break, or alternatively an adventure holiday walking, cycling, fishing, caving , sailing the list is end less.
The house itself consists of three floors, all rooms are bright with great views from all aspects in side or out.
Ground floor has a huge kitchen with a Range cooker, American style Fridge Freezer with plumbed ice and Water, wall mounted tv, free unlimited Wifi (at rural speeds!) a sink and large rustic dining table which seats up to 8 people.
Off the main kitchen area is a large comfortable seating area which includes a 42" wall mounted led tv with games console and breakfast bar.
Leading off the kitchen is a utility room with a toilet, wash hand basin and walk in shower.
There is also a double drainer sink, dishwasher, washer dryer, storage for boots and coats along with floor and wall cupboards for more storage.
Onto the first floor there is a toilet and wash hand basin just off the landing. Bedroom one has a king size zip and link bed along with a single bed, en suite with shower, toilet and a wash hand basin and a heated towel rail. Leading off the landing there is a very spacious living room with plenty of seating. There is a balcony which features breathtaking views this can be accessed through the double french doors. There is a wall mounted 55" Smart 3D TV accompanied by a 3D Blu Ray home cinema system. There is also a bed settee in this room which sleeps two.
The second floor master bedroom is furnished with a super king size bed and accompanied by a single bed. There is also a clothes rail and chest of drawers for convenience. Across the landing there is a shower room with a toilet and a wash hand basin, there is also a headed towel rail in this shower room. Further along the landing there is an additional double bedroom with has a kingsize zip and link bed.
All rooms are centrally heated, the second floor rooms have velux windows which have black out blinds for your comfort.
The Acre has a spacious garden although this is not enclosed and has a wide open driveway which has ample parking. There is a barbecue on the patio area at the front of the property by the fish pond. The garden features a lockable shed in which you can request to store bikes, fishing rods etc. There is a large decked area at the top of the garden with seating to watch the day pass by. This would also be a wonderful bird watching spot as this area is very familiar with Red Kites, Kestrels, Buzzards and other wildlife.
The Acre is located on the Beacons Way which boasts beautiful countryside walks right on the doorstep.
In the Village of Bwlch there is a shop with a post office, a country pub and a play park.
There is service bus which runs from Brecon to Abergavenny and back. On this route you can get further transport to the rest of the country if you wish, via train or bus.
The largest natural lake in the south of the UK is located just 4 miles away easily accessible by car or bike. There is boating, horse riding, bird watching and a canoe club.
On your arrival the owner of the property will meet and greet you to show you around and is on all call 24-7. You will be supplied with a welcome pack consisting of the essentials. All bed linen and hand towels are supplied.
There is to be NO SMOKING in this holiday cottage. Outside is fine but NOT INSIDE AT ALL.
