Great location to enjoy Paris!

Excellent location for exploring all of Paris and the view is wonderful. We really enjoyed the terrace and found the accommodations to be quite comfortable. As we had some very warm weather during our visit the air-conditioning was much appreciated. Samia and the staff at Glamaparis assisted with both checking in and familiarizing us with the apartment. Be prepared that this is a 5th floor walk up, but that is part of the charm.

Amazing View! Great Location!

We were two couples visiting Paris for one week. We loved our stylish cozy apartment! The view and location are outstanding!

Convenient to markets, bakeries, etc. Many restaurants just steps away!

Beautifully clean, lots of hot water, comfortable beds.

All just as shown in photos.

We hope to return next year!

We highly recommend for four people or less.

Gorgeous view, outrageous street noise daily till 3 am.

Unbeatable location and space

We stayed in this apartment in July 2017. The location absolutely cannot be beat! The pictures live up to the reality - we sat out on the TWO balconies every night watching the nightlife and listening to the bells of Notre Dame! The apartment is very spacious, clean, and modern. Also, the location is perfect for getting everywhere in Paris - you basically have access to almost every major metro and train line very quickly, and many of the major sites and neighborhoods are walkable! The washer/dryer is a bonus too. The living room is stocked with Paris travel books. We didn't use the TV once, so I can't comment on that!!

Some warnings up front that are not quite clear in the other reviews: this is a very high walkup - the stairs to the apartment are steep and narrow - you don't want to have to go up and down more than once (maybe twice) a day. Carrying luggage up is a major workout! Also, something I've not seen in other reviews: there is no door on the master bedroom, although it's semi-private being at the top of a staircase (and these stairs are steep and slippery without a handrail- just a warning if you are not as physically able). But more importantly - there is NO door on the master bathroom. If one person is in the bedroom, you can see the other person on the toilet, unless you make an effort to stand far away. (There is a door on the 2nd bathroom, and that one is VERY small.) There can also be a lot of street noise, especially in the 2nd bedroom. We were fine as we had earplugs/headphones, which were definitely useful.

However, these issues were minor to us - again, the apartment itself is wonderful and we'd stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you!!!!

Owner's Response: Unbeatable location and space? Waw, thank you. There might be properties with such a good location but it is certainly rare to find, especially with such a terrace! Thank for your very objective feedback, it will be very helpful for anyone reading this and even for us as we have never occupied the unit ourselves and the owner never gave us such specific comments either. Well, regarding the stairs, not much we can do except having the information specified on all adverts, which is already the case. Unfortunately & even if the owner wanted to have a lift but is it not allowed in such old original buildings that are protected by French laws. As for your other comments, it was discussed with the owner and starting from October, we will add a door to the master bedroom to allow some privacy. We will also be adding a curtain or door (not sure yet what would work best) between the master bathroom and the bedroom for once again, privacy purposes. Regarding the noise, we are not used to having such comments as both the windows in the upper and lower bedroom are double-glazed. We will have that checked as the double-glazing should normally block out the street noise. We hope to welcome you again in the future, maybe in this apartment for you to see the improvement . Great apartment in Paris

Great apartment in Paris overlooking Seine and Notre Dame. Listing accurately defines apartment. Well maintained with best view in Paris. Enjoyed being able to watch the tour boats floating past in the evenings from the terrace. Paul and his team were easy to work with and check in and check out were a breeze. Nice to have washer and dryer in unit to keep clothes fresh. It is a climb to the fifth floor with no elevator but it helped us get in shape over the week stay.

Once-In-A-Lifetime Vacation

Simply WOW! If you want to soak in Paris architecture, culture, nightlife and food - this location is the best there is. My wife, two kids (11 & 13) and I stayed here for a week and didn't want to leave. The balconies (two of them) are to-die-for. The apartment simply oozes with old-Paris charm. The exposed beams give it character. The two private bedrooms are on different levels - one split-level and one upstairs from the main living space. This created great privacy for jet-lag napers and a great adult space upstairs. Both bedrooms have a full bath.

Glamparis was amazing to work with. They were extremely responsive to all my emails prior to our trip. They were flexible on arrival check-in. The morning of our flight, Paul texted me right on-schedule, helped me with travel information from the airport (take the RER - it lets out 50 yards from the flat) and met us at the door. It could not have been more smooth. The apartment was well-stocked. Paul had a bottle of champaign waiting for us, as well as a map and recommendations for restaruants.

We spent much of the week on the main terrace taking in the view of Notre Dame. You are litterally in the Church's shadow. We would watch the tourists line-up each morning, and then have a bottle of wine watching the sun set as the night life of the Latin Quarter kicked-in. Tourists boats would glide by on the river every 15 minutes and you could see people pointing up to us relaxing on the balcony (probably saying "who gets to stay there?").

A few things to note - which others have mentioned. It is 6 flights of stairs up. We are an active family and saw this as a plus (a built-in stair climber). There is street noise at night, but the windows are very high quality and the air conditioning works REALLY WELL. So this was not a problem. The main couch in the living room needs to be replaced (not comfortable and cushions slide off easily). It is a small apartment.

There are 3 grocery stores within a few block walk. We cooked in about half the nights. We just didn't want to leave the deck. My morning stroll to the bakery for fresh croissants was amazing. You can literally see the Metro and RER entrance from the flat. And there are bike-share stations within 2 blocks in every direction. We biked along the river almost every day. Biking to the Arc De Triomphe and Eiffel Tower were real hits with the kids.

I could literally write a book about how much we loved staying here. 5 stars and then some.

It doesn’t get much better than Paris' 5th arrondissement! Just across the river from the Notre Dame Cathedral, you'll get a taste of Paris's medieval history.

The neighborhood is within walking distance to the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Cluny Museum, and numerous other attractions. Shakespeare and Company, the first English language book store in Paris, is just down stairs.

Metro stations: Saint Michel (line 4, and RER C and B)

Bicycles for rent (“Velibs”): These are available just 20 meters away.

Taxis: The Boulevard Saint Michel, directly in front of the apartment, has plenty of them.

Train: The RER A train will take you to Euro Disney Paris.

Airport: The Air France Shuttle, located at Port Maillot and Invalides, goes straight to the airport.

Parking: If you have a car, you can park it in a private lot about 150 meters away from the apartment.

We however do offer some special rates for shorter stays depending on calendars and periods.

Payment by credit card (AMEX, VISA, MASTERCARD), cash, and wire transfer. Minor fees apply to credit card transactions. 2.5% for Visas, 3.5% for AMEX

Since 2015, a tourist tax of 0,83 € is charged per guest & per night (except for children under 18)

For shorter stays, the security deposit is typically made by credit card print, meaning no extra money is charged up front. Ask us for more details.

A representative will greet you at the apartment with the keys. This service is free of charge, with the exception of late check-ins (any day after 7pm), Sunday check-ins, and holiday check-ins. These incur a 50 €. fee. After 10pm, the fee increases to 75€.
