Industrial chic meets Cape Town cool in this stylish two bedroomed apartment. Situated in Bloem Street, in the heart of the city, Bandar Place is tucked away on the top floor of an Art Deco block in the centre of Cape Town, providing a quiet, convenient escape with spectacular Table Mountain views.
The three-level apartment spacious and light with double-volume, free-flowing living spaces, two bedrooms and a rooftop patio, barbeque area and a splash pool with beautiful views of the city and Table Mountain. The apartment is accessed from street level or the basement parking area via an elevator and opens directly into the living and dining area and modern, open plan kitchen. Contemporary-chic décor with warm African tones, a flat screen television and a four-seater dining table create the perfect space for comfortable holiday living while the fully equipped kitchen features top-of-the-range appliances, including a double fridge/freezer, oven and hob, microwave and Nespresso machine. A sleek breakfast counter with four designer stools is ideal for preparing and serving quick meals or entertaining.
The second bedroom is located on this level and offers twin beds in crisp white linen, an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and bathtub and a separate toilet, which can double up as a guest toilet. The bedroom can be separated from the living areas by closing a heavy, wooden sliding door for added levels of privacy.
A winding staircase takes one up to the mezzanine level of the apartment, which overlooks the first-floor living spaces and houses an open-plan work space with desk, computer and modem, as well as the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a lavish king-sized bed, ample cupboard space, an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, and a separate toilet. Both the master and second bedrooms have air-conditioning for extra comfort.
Continue up the winding stairwell to the third level of the apartment, which is a sunny and bright room with comfy couches and a small kitchenette with a dishwasher and a sink. This room opens onto a wooden rooftop deck which boasts an eight-seater dining table, a splash pool and breath-taking views of Table Mountain and the city below.
The apartment has a dedicated parking bay and there is plenty of on-street parking outside the apartment. Situated within a few minutes’ walk from the city centre, Bandar Place is ideally located to experience all of Cape Town’s main attractions.

I couldn’t have picked a better apartment than this one for my months stay in Cape Town!
Centrally located a block from Bree Street and two blocks to the Company Gardens, it was a perfect location. The apartment was light with high ceilings, the kitchen had everything I needed to cook meals. It was clean, comfortable, and secure. It is close to the grocery store, cafes and restaurants, and boutiques. Near the area called the Gardens, which is the more upscale area of Cape Town with the Mount Nelson Hotel. Taking Uber is easy and inexpensive going to Camps Bay Beach, V & A Waterfront, and Table Mountain Tram. The tour companies had no problem picking us up at the apartment to take us to the wine country, safaris, the Cape of Good Hope, or Boulders Beach.
I’d definitely rent the apartment again!
