Beautiful gardens and leisurely walks, Regency history and fine hotels, clean beaches and friendly shops.... it’s all here in this lovely seaside town that nestles beneath majestic red cliffs and the green hills of the glorious Sid Valley. This Jurassic coast is a thing of beauty. It isn't part of a world heritage site by chance. It is a tranquil step back through the geological history of the world that cascades the deep reds of the dominant rocks into your consciousness alongside the feel of the wind on your skin and song of birds in your ears.
