About Adam Bersin
We purchased the one acre property on which Highcliffe Lodge stands in 2014, previously owned and undeveloped by an important Vail family for 60 years. We fell in love with the aspen grove and ancient boulders on the property, and the amazing views of the Gore Range ,which are some of the finest in all of Vail. We created a richly Colorado mountain-themed vacation home for our family use -- authentic, rich and fantasifull in design and decor to allow guests to feel transported to an a magnificent turn of the century lodge in Yellowstone, yet with all the modern amenities and creature comforts our family enjoys. Highcliffe Lodge a true destination property created with passion and vision, and guests love it. The quality and amibance/experienced is unmatched. The design and construction of Highcliffe Lodge took three years, and Highcliffe is the last authentic log home built in Vail in the past 30 years as noted by the Vail Building Department. Highcliffe is iconic in its presence, quality of finishes and attention to detail, and reputation, and we hope you will enjoy an amazing mountain adventure at our amazing lodge.

Why Adam Bersin chose Vail
The beautiful acre of land beneath Highcliffe was one of the very last virgin parcels in Vail, and has outstanding views of the Gore Mountain Range and abuts the White Forest National Park to the rear. Most importantly, it sits on a charming residential street with Gore Creek only a one-minute walk away, making white water rafting trips, fly fishing, and nature walks along its banks easy with no driving required. Fantastic waterfall hike begins 500 feet up the block. Special attention was paid to find indigenous stone and artwork to represent the Rocky Mountains and its splendor. As a family we love the hustle and Internationality of Vail Village and all its restaurants, and great skiing and shopping, so we were looking for a perfect location for easy, fast access to the Village, but also wanted a more private exclusive experience to retreat to when we tired of the bustle of the Village. It was important that the location allowed for our early teenage kids to be able to independently bike, walk or take the free Town bus to the village whether to ski or just people watch by themselves.
What makes this House unique
Privacy, location and truly enchanting environment. Plenty of yard space for kids to run and play games, even has an antique wagon for kids of all ages to take an imaginery wagon train ride. Private mountain in back yard, with trails and observatory. Amazing views, and plenty of wildlife roaming (birds, foxes and even wild pigs, elk and occasional moose). Plenty of decks and balconies to enjoy fresh air and al fresco dining. A Mountain lodge in Vail, luxuriously decorated and appointed in Ritz Carlton, Bachelor Gulch style, with its own state-of-the-art private movie theater and mountain!

A beautiful setting for a summer wedding ceremony. The Lodge is beautiful, comfortable and has everything you could want.
Everything was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for more. Beautiful home with conveniences beyond expectations and located in a beautiful setting.
Fabulous Vacation Spot in the Mountains
Highcliffe Lodge was a wonderful vacation experience for our extended family fo 10, exceeeded our expectations in every way, plenty of room and amenities. The location was extremely convenient to outdoor activities, and a short drive to the Village center. Solaris parking was amazing and free. The property shows total attention to detail, and everything from the furnishings, electronics and even the placemats and steak knives, pots and pans were top quality. The lower level cinema was truly amazing and they owned every first-run film available. The back yard space, path and views were magnificent, and the kids love to play ping pong and billards in the game room. Such a treat to bring family together from Texas where the weather was sweltering to enjoy this air-conditioned Vail mountain estate. We absoluted loved it and you should not hesitate! The Mason family from Dallas.
From the Marrese Family of Florida, stayed at Highcliffe in July, 2019
"The Mearesse family couldn't have envisioned a more perfect vacation. Adam & Ana, your home is a true masterpiece - a work of art. There is not one detail leftout! My daughter is a graduate of Parsons School of Design and has designed buildings as grand as the Google building, and she said Highcliffe has been done to perfection?
All of your suggestions from the flyfishing to the White Water Rafting were spot on. After a busy day out in the beautiful mountains, we enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen which fit comfortably our family and friends.
The outdoor space is a dream! We enjoyed daily the firepit and the super special perch that provided views that were breathtaking.
It was a Perfect Vacation. We love your beautiful and hope to return one day soon.
The Mearrresa Family.
The home is not only beautiful but has tons of amenities. The owner was very nice and cooperative and responsive.
Amazing Ski Trip
We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house. We travel frequently and I can say that this was one of the best rentals.
Highcliffe Lodge is a very short drive to the slopes-- At first I was worried that we were "away" from the town, but I could not have been more mistaken. It was idyllic to stay at this beautiful house and to have the space and beauty after a long day of wonderful skiing. -- Friends of ours stayed in town in a small condo close to the slopes--- absolutely no comparison. We were so pleased to have our space. The drive, parking and unloading process could not have been more seamless.
This is a luxurious house with a game room, hot tub and plenty of comfortable beds - plus a wonderful kitchen. The decor is amazing and both the kids and adults were in heaven this week. Hard to leave because you just have everything here that you need.
Highly recommend Highcliffe Lodge. Owner was available and helpful- he had great recommendations and information. Questions we had were already anticipated... All is explained in an informative packet and owner available for questions. We had no complaints at all. This is a wonderful house.... it is worth it.
