My family and I stayed for one week at Villa Oasi (me, my husband and our 2 children aged 12 and 14) together with my sister and her husband, who currently live in New Zealand. My sister and her husband had spent the previous 14 days travelling around various cities so a relaxing week at Villa Oasi was perfect for them, as it was for all of us.
The Villa itself is amazing and querky © Home from home. We spent most days round the pool and had bbq’s most evenings. It was very hot during our stay and it was nice to cool down in the games room.
We had a spectacular thunderstorm one evening and which was the perfect excuse to dine inside which was really cosy and civilised.
We were lucky to be in Italy when the Festival was on and had a wonderful evening in Ceprano watching the celebrations, the fire works were spectacular.
We went to the Colleseum one day which was vey interesting and easy to get to by train.
The Cakes from Bar Marano are very tasty
A wonderful week was had by us all and we wished we had stayed for longer. Thank you Luisa

The villa was even more impressive than the photos show The villa was spotless throughout and well maintained with a fantastic large pool. The layout of the house worked well for us. The basement room with the TV was perfect for all the family. The kitchen and utility room is modern with all mod cons. The large patio area around the pool is surrounded by trees which gives you total seclusion. We had great customer service, nothing was too much for the family when we needed anything. The restaurants within a few miles of the villa served excellent food. Bar Mareno is a must , only a short distance from the villa; cakes and ice cream! The house is perfectly situated for trips to Pompeii , Rome or the beach. If you are looking for somewhere for peace and quiet but not too far from town, this is the place for you.
The property was clean, well maintained and the arrangements were easy to follow.
We couldn't have asked for better customer service from the villa owner and their friends.
I would stay at this property again
Villa Oasi provided a good base for a relaxing holiday. Luisa was a very welcoming owner & was most helpful with local knowledge when we were organising trips. The villa is definitely off the beaten track & not part of the tourist circuit, worth remembering when planning your stay as some of the restaurants we were hoping to visit we're closed in August because of holidays! Also worth knowing that Mondays seems to be a day when attractions are closed. A mobile device is a must to look up info for visits. The visitors book is not extensive, comprising mainly pages from a guide book rather than previous visitors' recommendations. We did plan our visit by booking tickets for the Vatican Museum & the Colosseum in advance which avoided the queues at the ticket booths. Tickets for under 18s were mostly free, saving us quite a lot of money on entrance fees for our 15 & 17 year olds (who are classed as adults almost everywhere else) but make sure you have proof of age with you. We also visited Herculaneum, AquaMania in Rome (for the teenagers of course), The Palace of Caserta gardens and the beach at Sperlonga. We cooked at the villa most times but did have a very nice, reasonably-priced meal at Ristorante Leone in Arce and the restaurant at Hotel Borgo Antica in Ceprano was excellent and amazingly cheap for top quality restaurant food - the language barrier was entertaining though (and the maître d a little impatient) so make sure you take your phrase book! Back to the villa-make sure you pack your bug repellant & bite cream! The little blighters were out in force morning, noon & night (probably moreso because of the higher than average rainfall this year) & some of us were eaten alive! The villa is equipped with bug screens so be careful to keep them closed & you're ok inside in the evenings. There was plenty of space for our 4 adults & 2 teenagers. Enough outside space & loungers for all (although cushions would be more luxurious) and the garden sofa was a lovely spot for early morning coffee! The pool was well kept & maintained weekly, just watch the steps down as there is no handrail. I cant end without a quick word about Bar Murano. They have the most delicious pastries & cakes you'll ever eat and you won't visit just once! They'll fill your croissants with chocolate, custard or cream if you ask. Their boxes of mixed mini-pastries are amazing! Enjoy!
This villa is a good base to see Rome, Naples and Pompeii. Luisa made getting to it very easy and painless and the welcome pack of food was much appreciated. Everything had been thought of for an extremely comfortable stay, including games and pool equipment that the kids loved. The views while eating on the terrace were lovely. We caught the train into Rome twice, which cost 14 euros each including the bus and metro when you get there. We even drove to Sperlonga beach and had a lovely day there. Pompeii was fabulous but 3 hours was enough with an 11 and 16 year old. They give you a map and guide book when you buy your ticket. I will definitely recommend this villa for a family and will someday be back, as there is still so much to see.
a beautiful villa which is well maintainded. A good base while visiting relatives. Quite central for places to visit. Monte Cassino is a must. Extremely well equipped kitchen - much more than other rentals. I would recommend this property highly. Luisa provides tou with a few basics - sugar, tea, coffee etc. Very pleased with our holiday.
This was our first trip to Italy and Villa Oasi provided a great base to either spend the day relaxing at the pool or to travel from, by road or rail, to places such as Rome or Naples. The villa is modern, well presented, and maintained to a high standard by the owner. It had all the equipment we needed to make the family feel relaxed and at home. The villa provided seclusion and privacy for relaxation and yet was close to the village, the main road network and the railway station. We traveled to Rome by rail easily, and to Pompeii and Naples by road as well as exploring local towns and villages.
The kitchen was modern with everything you would need. The be rooms were bright and well presented. There was great and comfortable living room for us all to be together but plenty for other nooks such as the games room for our teenagers to find space of their own when they wanted it.
The pool was well maintained and the pool area was spacious and well equipped. A great place to spend the day relaxing in a tranquil and private setting.
Luisa, the owner was a great host, providing local knowledge and an attention to detail I've rarely experienced in renting villas previously.
Over all this is a villa that I would highly recommend.
Located close to Monte Cassino, grotte di Pastena, Rainbow Magicland Theme Park, Isola Liri waterfall, Royal Palace in Caserta, Close to Sperlonga/ Gaeta famous beaches in the Lazio region and in the province of Frosinone.
The amazing Amalfi Coast is only 150Km away and well worth a visit.
