This Docks Duplex Penthouse Apartment via the lift is Located on the 4th and 5th floor of a converted flour mill in the heart of the Gloucester Docks with fantastic views over the Main Docks Marina from two Juliet balconies. Up the spiral stairs is the Master Bedroom which has roof sky windows fitted with black out blinds, also double doors to the Juliet balcony with stunning views over the docks. There is also the main bathroom with shower over the bath. Down stairs there is a W/C and sink and a double bedroom with a large window with great views. The open plan living, and kitchen area has double doors to the Juliet balcony. There are great views over the Docks and very large windows which floods the apartment with light and it's decorated to a very high standard. The apartment has two large double bedrooms with bath towels provided. The kitchen has all the utilities you may need for making and eating meals for up to four guests at the dinner table. The Docks area is a up and coming GEM which is constantly improving with many restaurants and bars along the waterfront. The surrounding Cotswolds and Forest of Dean is attracting a lot of tourists from around the world and is also seeing millions of pounds worth

of investment towards improvement in the whole of the City.

Over the years we have taken aboard comments from our guests and where needed, implemented change so that we are constantly improving the service which we provide. We feel this is the reason that our guests come back year after year.

Gloucester City and Gloucester Docks has millions of pounds on investment in buildings along the stunning waterfront and in the City Centre.

Why The Owner chose The Docks

When you book to stay at our Docks Apartment you will get an automated confirmation from HomeAway which in turn will send your booking details to our system. We will then send you all your check-in details via email 10-14 days before you are due to visit. In the check-in details will be contact telephone numbers of which you can call when you are near to the Docks, you will be instructed to where we will meet you. We will then show you your private parking space outside the Apartment, then via a few stairs to the lift you will be shown around your apartment and explained where to go/what to see in the area.

Palmer's Mill Gloucester Quays

We had never stayed in a city centre apartment before, and we're thrilled by what we found, and by the overall experience of three nights in Gloucester. Beautifully presented, the apartment offers easy accommodation for four people with its two double bedrooms, and living space. The welcome pack was generous - you can't beat a box of Milk Tray! - and it was so clean, light and airy up on the fourth floor. We expected night time noise, but there was none, apart from revellers emerging from the quayside bars and restaurants. Two of our nights were Friday and Saturday, after all.

I would thoroughly recommend the property to anyone wanting access to city centre, to cathedral, to high quality eateries, and to the banks of the River Severn, just a five minute walk away across green fields.

We plan to return in January, for a week, if we can!!

Homely, great location

On arrival we were met by Michael, who was both friendly and informative about the apartment and the area. The welcome pack left by Sharon was a lovely gesture as well as the bottle of bubbles for my Fiance's birthday was most appreciated. The apartment was lovely and clean and has everything you could need, with a lovely view across the docks and is located centrally for sightseeing on foot. Recommend a visit to the prison which is just 5 mins walk away. There are some lovely restaurants close by too, we went to Greek on the Docks and the Ship Inn, food and service at both were fantastic. We are planning to come back to Gloucester again for the Christmas markets and will definitely book Docks Penthouse again.
