Between the lounge and kitchen are glass french doors to the balcony overlooking the gardens, a quiet lane and fields beyond. Further armchair seating is provided for two just inside the French doors and further seating on the balcony for two with a matching table. All bedrooms and bathrooms are on the same level.The spacious main bedroom has skylight windows, blinds and an electric ceiling fan. Outside of the property is a raised garden with garden furniture and a barbecue. In the Sumer season (July August September) a 1.2 m x 4.5 m overland plunge pool is installed in the garden for guest exclusive use. It is maintained by the owner who lives in an adjacent property with a separate aspect. ( Close enough to maintain the colourful gardens and assist with anything guests might need without disturbing guest privacy at any other time) Children must be supervised in the garden and pool area which is surrounded by plants and trees but not fenced .
The village of Madiran is a few minutes by car and although not naturally paved, can be reached on foot. Madiran has a bar/restaurant and bakery. Opposite the restauarant are tennis courts and outside swimming pool in the Summer months. Surrounding areas of Lembeye and Maubourguet are larger with shops and supermarkets. There is a Super U Superstore twenty minutes drive away.
Children welcome. Please note when the plunge pool is installed it is accessed by a ladder. Young children must be supervised. There are stairs to the apartment and the garden is not fenced.
