About the property

Barn conversion. Ideally and centrally located for Norfolk Lincoln Cambridge

Situated in the Fenlands Cambridgeshire we are conveniently located next to the borders of Norfolk and Lincolnshire which makes exploring all that much easier .

Set in the village of Leverington you will find Seafield Barn at the far end of the village down a quiet lane. The shop and pubs are a short walk away.

Within a tranquil courtyard and sympathetically restored in 2017 from its former life as a stable for shire horse's. Every modern convenience has been used to transform this into a beautiful light and airy living space.

Wisbech is close by with the river Nene meandering through with stunning Georgian houses along its banks. Here you will find the yacht and boat marina, plenty of shops, cinema and of course lots of coffee shops.

This lovingly restored the Barn along with our neighbours in the courtyard have been converted to a very high specification including air source heat pump for the hot water and central heating.

With free fibre broadband and all of the features that you would expect from a modern energy efficient conversion this makes your holiday even more comfortable.

The History of our Barn

Built in the last century Restored in this one

Seafield Farm was built as a working farm and the barns were used for stabling and storage.

The Shire horse has long been used as a work horse and first arrived in Britain in 1066 with the Norman invasion and they are still used today especially in Norfolk and Cambridge.

With free WiFi and all of the features that you would expect from a modern energy efficient conversion this makes your holiday even more comfortable.

We hope that you enjoy staying here as much we do.

Perfect barn conversion!

  • 5 of 5

My wife, myself and our dog stayed for a few days while I worked nearby. Every little thing had been thought of and the interior design was of a very high standard. It was such a peaceful location with plenty of little lanes and footpaths to walk the dog without the need for the car. Wisbech is about 35 minutes walk away whilst other lovely locations can be visited by car. We’ll certainly book again if in the area.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a very comfortable stay. The accomodation is modern and well equipped. One huge double bedroom and a much smaller one. Bathroom is downstairs. Location is quiet. We found dog walking and pubs were best found by car. We took trips to Sandringham, Hunstanton, Gedney Drove End where there's a great dog walk along the edge of the Wash salt marshes. Take your binoculars to see the birds even if your not a regular bird-spotter. Spalding and Boston also with striking distance but be warned roads can get very busy (especially around King's Lynne) and there's lots of tractors, lorries and tourists(!). Sue and Richard were very caring and helpful. Thank you for a memorable stay. Chris, Carol and our four-legged friends Tilly & Winnie.

Superbly finished house to a high quality spec . Very clean and modern.

Ideally situated as a Base to explore the varied interests of the surrounding area. Or peaceful and secluded enough for a really chilled time. Also pack sun tan cream because if the sun's out the garden is a real sun trap.
