My artist partner and I have just finished renovating this wonderful town house in Canterbury and are looking forward to sharing it with guests.
The house is perfect for small family groups, couples, wedding guests and travelling friends.
We hope you will love our home as much as we do and look forward to welcoming you as a guest.
The house is cosy but spacious, with large airy rooms filled with original Edwardian features, sympathetically restored and up-dated - with a new kitchen and walk-in shower room.
The house has a large double (king-size), and smaller double on the first floor, a large twin room and third small double on the second floor.
There is a small courtyard garden & barbecue.
We are very pleased to offer all our guests the use of bikes or eBikes, at half price, from our bike shop Biketart which is just ten minutes walk away.
Our place is close to the centre of the medieval heart of Canterbury with it's cobbled streets, multitude of restaurants and stunning cathedral.
We are minutes away from the St.Augustine's which, with St.Martins church, is part of the Canterbury World Heritage Site.
Kent's St.Lawrence cricket ground is ten minutes walk away!
Being a town-house we are on one of the main roads into the City and have a couple of really good traditional pubs nearby as well as a Waitrose within five minutes walking distance, boots pharmacy, cinema and excellent restaurants.
Parking can be found opposite the house (short-term) and there is a large car park a few minutes walk away.
We are moments away from the bus station, taxi rank & Canterbury Uber to take you to the beach and surrounding countryside.
The Canterbury East (ten mines walk) & Canterbury West train stations (a 15 minute walk for the fast train which goes to London every half hour) give access to all the nearby towns & cities.
