This newly built holiday home is located in the village of Tar which offers cultural and touristic events (e.g. donkey race), as well as near the beautiful city of Porec and just 3 km from the first beach. Porec is a town with a rich cultural heritage where a massive city wall defies time and greets visitors from all over the world. Don't miss to visit the Euphrasian Basilica. It was built in the middle of the 6th century in the Byzantine style and it's considered to be one of most beautiful works of art in the world. The nearby small Istrian town of Visnjan is situated on the top of a hill, surrounded by rich forests of the picture-perfect Istrian countyside. The antique terrace on the square, which is entered through the Venetian arc, gives one a remarkable view of the sea. Ever since the days of Venetian rule, Visnjan had served as a renowned commercial center, where all sorts of agricultural products and tools were being sold. Even today, every last Thursday of the month there is a traditional open market held there, which is a special attraction for people from all over Istria. Visnjan is a place of special interest to astrology lovers because of its internationally reputed Astronomical Observatory.
