Beautiful beaches, narrow cobblestone alleys, sunny days and the smell of pines - if you decide to spend your holiday on the island of Brac, you will not be disappointed! The island of Brac is the largest island of the central Dalmatian group and is easily reached from the continental part of Croatia by a ferry. The villa itself is located in Bol, today a known tourist location. In its earlier days, Bol was most of all a fishing and wine-making town, however, today its main attraction is the stunning Zlatni rat beach, one of the most frequent motifs on Croatian postcards. Changing its shape and position according to the wind, the beach is interesting both to tourists as well as to locals. When in Bol, you can visit many interesting places of worship on the island, such as the pre Romanic church of St. Ivan and St. Tudor (11th century), the church Madonna of graces (15.-17th century) or the fortified gothic summer palace (end of 15th and beginning of 16th. century).
However, if you feel like spending time in a larger city, Split with its impressive monuments and just the right balance between traditional and modern is only a ferry drive away.
