|Minimum Stay||4 - 6 nights|
The villa sits in a traditionally styled gated community and is on three floors with 3 double bedrooms and an open plan ground floor that leads onto a south facing decked area. The waters edge is a few feet away protected by railings making the house safe for young families.
The immediate group of houses has exclusive use of the swimming pool situated within metres of the house (from 15th April to 31st October). The master bedroom has a private roof terrace for discrete sunbathing or sun downers looking towards the ramparts of Aigues-Mortes.
There are tennis racquets, canoes and bicycles provided for the free use of the guests. There is also a rib with 20 horsepower outboard motor available at an extra cost on the basis that the guest has appropriate insurance and a powerboat level 2 licence.
All bath towels and bed linen are provided and a final clean is included in the rental.
The house is situated in a residential community with owner occupiers of whom some rent out their houses when they are not there.(as is the case with ours). It is therefore relatively peaceful and is ideal for families with friends who are looking to relax whilst making the most that the Camargue has to offer.
My family and I love France and had a lovely holiday staying in such a tranquil and beautiful setting. Thank you.
We spent 7 nights at this wonderful house in Aigues Mortes. Both adults and kids had an amazing time. The house is in a great location as you can walk into the walled town in about 10 minutes by the river. It’s also well-equipped and you can get a sense of how homely the place is when you settle in. It’s also on the water too which means lots to look at in terms of boats and wildlife. We especially loved access to the pool. The other residents are very friendly and keen to chat if you know a little bit of French. The owners were on hand to make suggestions when we asked for advice and the service we received off them was superb. The location is also good for nearby activities too. We would stay here again!
My husband and I spent a lovely long weekend at the villa. It was in a wonderful location and very near to all the local amenities. Plenty of wonderful restaurants in the nearby town. The property was spotless and spacious. It was also very well equipped. Would definitively recommend this property and hoping to go there again in the not too distance future.

A few minutes walk from the house is the perfectly preserved fortified town of Aigues-Mortes brimming with restaurants, art galleries, shops and bars. The same few minutes in a car take you to some of the best beaches on the Mediterranean or to the midst of the Camargue, one of the top UNESCO world heritage sites famed for its pink flamingoes, black bulls and white horses. Close by are the Provençal towns of Nimes and Arles with their Roman Coliseums and the city of Montpellier.
The Languedoc Roussillon has many golf courses for all levels of abilities and is a great region for river and sea fishing, riding the wild horses of the Camargue and other sports and activities.
