Spacious, front-line golf apartment located on the superb Mar Menor Golf Resort

The property is just 10 minutes’ drive from Murcia International Airport and just 50 minutes’ from Alicante Airport. It is also only 10 minutes’ from the beaches, bars, restaurants, shops and leisure facilities in the popular family orientated coastal resort of Los Alcazares. In addition, the stunning and historic, Roman port City of Cartagena is just a 20 minutes’ drive and the regions’ beautiful, “Baroque” capital of Murcia with its impressive Cathedral is only 50 minutes away.

With golden, sandy beaches on 2 seas (The Mar Menor & The Mediterranean), fantastic diving & water-sports centres, modern shopping & leisure centres (including Europe’s largest open air mall) and numerous inland and coastal natural parks, the Region of Murcia is truly unique and a one of South East Spain’s most diverse and exciting areas. With an annual average of around 320 sunny days it also ideal for family holidays and leisure breaks at any time of the year.

The Apartment Features

This beautiful, modern, fully air-conditioned, 2 bed, ground floor apartment has recently been re-furnished and re-decorated to a very high standard. In addition, there is a newly installed private pool with South facing sun terrace which offer all day sunshine and stunning views across the golf course and surrounding countryside.

The spacious open plan lounge has a black leather 2-seater couch, 2 leather lounge chairs, AC unit, flat screen TV, DVD player, portable Bluetooth player and IPTV box with full UK Sky Channels & 1000’s of OD Films & Boxsets. There are large sliding patio doors at the rear of the lounge which provide direct access to the fantastic new pool area where you will find sun loungers, barbecue and a large dining table with space for 6 people. There is a covered dining area and fully extendable awnings for shade, just in case the hot Spanish sun gets a bit too much in the afternoons. The pool is also equipped with multi-coloured LED lights which with numerous programs and settings which is great fun for night time dips in the pool.

The fully equipped open plan kitchen features a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven, hob, large-fridge freezer and “Nespreso” coffee machine. It also has all the pots, pans, plates, cutlery, cups and glasses you will need for your perfect self-catering family holiday.

The master bedroom has a 150cm wide king size bed with a band new visco-elastica topped mattress, large built-in wardrobe with sliding doors, bedside cabinets with lamps, dressing table & chair and AC unit. All bedding (sheets for Summer & quilts in winter) is included. There is also direct access to the pool area from the master bedroom via the sliding patio doors.

The second bedroom has 2 single beds, AC unit, bedside cabinet & lamp, dressing table/drawer unit, mirror and large built in wardrobes with sliding doors.

The large, modern, family bathroom has both a bath and shower. All hand, bath and pool towels are included in your rental.

To the front of the property is a small white pebbled garden area and private partially covered parking space. In addition, there is plenty of off street parking available across the street.

The Apartment Location

The apartment is perfectly located on a quiet, residential avenue away from the main road and is just a few minutes’ walk from the brand-new, resort supermarket, padel tennis courts, gym, communal gardens, outdoor fitness trail and 2 kids play parks. It is also situated directly between the resorts 2 main commercial areas; The Resort Centre and The Bulevard so is just a 5 minute walk to a all the resort's amenities and leisure facilities which include great choice of bars and restaurants offering both Spanish and International cuisine.

As well as the numerous bars and restaurants the resort also boasts a 5 Star Intercontinental Hotel with Spa and indoor pool, an 18 Hole Jack Nicklaus designed championship golf course with practice range, 3 gyms, a floodlit tennis court, 8 x padel tennis courts, a taxi rank, large "Spar" supermarket, a bank with 24hr cash machine, a kids club and a bus stop with daily buses to the local town of Torre Paceco. There are also 15 communal swimming pools available for your use. The communal pool at the centre of the resort also has a life guard, sun loungers, bar and restaurant on site. This private gated resort has two entrances with security barriers and benefits from 24 hour patrols. The friendly on-site security team are also available 24 hours a day to assist guests with all issues including any medical emergencies.

About Christine

The apartment is owned by Christine Carter and her parents Ces & Lynne Cestrone. Her parents are based in Halifax, West Yorkshire but Christine is permanently based on the resort where she has lived with her husband, Craig and her 10 year old daughter Siena for the last 7 years. As such either Christine or Craig are usual available on site if you need anything during your stay.

Wish we stayed longer!!

Beautiful accomdation, very clean and spacious. Lovely views over the golf course. Christine and her husband were so welcoming and kind. Shown us round the local town which is only 10 mins away with lots to see and do. Massive spar shop literally round the corner which is so handy and has everything you'll need! Can't wait to stay again. Thanks so much xx

Super apartment with stunning south facing Pool/Deck Area overlooking Golf Course

My Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 1/2 weeks stay over Xmas/New Year 2017/18. This apartment is clean, modern and very well presented.... and arrangements with our gracious hosts were faultless. The pool area is fantastic with quality tiling, extendable sun shades and quiet outlook over the 10th hole of the golf course. Many an evening was spent watching the sun go down over the distant hills ....with a glass of red wine in one hand and a bowl of olives on the table. The TV entertainment system is VERY impressive and the best I have encountered in countless previous holiday rentals in Spain and the USA. I have no doubt that for our next vacation in this area of Spain, checking for the availability for this apartment will be the first thing I do. Stuart & Janette
