Dustin purchased this House in 2016
Why Dustin chose Stratford
As a designer, I believe inspiration comes from the space itself; a room speaks to you, if you care to listen. Meath Road speaks of old friends, close comforting neighbours, a sense still of community In the morning the salaryman is off to work, the school children not far behind. A mother calls for her infants to hurry along, off on a quick visit to the local shops, sunshine beams through the picture windows. Afternoons are spent in the quiet back garden, sipping a cool drink or warm cup of tea, dozing in complete privacy, a world within a world. The house is a different creature as evening draws in, the Boysenberry tree casting long shadows into the bedrooms, as if to welcome you home and to a peaceful night amidst the bustling city.
What makes this House unique
Easy access to the airports, numerous cultural hubs, the City and Docklands. A mere 10 minute bus ride to the Stratford hub for travel to the coast, shopping, sightseeing, watching the football or just sightseeing. An exhaustive range of restaurants, bars, pubs, museums and galleries, sports and almost all leisure activities at your disposal. The house is spacious and designed with you in mind; every detail is catered for and we're on stand-by to provide anything we may have missed! Newly renovated, its ideal for one to eight guests. On street parking via Parking Permits at £5 per day, Monday to Friday only.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Dustin the owner is a great host, always helpful and caring. We needed a Taxi in the middle of the night, he organised it, and gave us a call to check,if it all worked out for us! The house is big, nicely furnished, and the beds are comfortable . We were there for 4 nights and loved the peace and quietness of the neighbourhood , after a long day in the busy and loud tourist areas. We called it, a home away from home!
It's our second time in Dustin 's property, and surely not the last! Thanks Dustin.
Quiet, comfortable home away from home
The property was easy to find, and the instructions got us right in with no trouble. The beds were comfortable. There's only one bathroom, with one shower, but there was never a problem having enough hot water for the family. There was plenty of tea and sugar there for our use, and little things like salt and pepper in the cabinet, and a corkscrew so we didn't have to scrounge for them. The heat wasn't working in the master bedroom when we arrived, but Dustin responded almost immediately to my inquiry, and knew exactly how to fix it.
The neighborhood was quiet, but buses run nearby every few minutes, and two Underground stations are less than half a mile walk.
I recommend Great Wall Chinese for a tasty takeaway, and Fat Chaps had the BEST chips!
Nice House, Good stay
We had a great time at this property, it's within close walking distance to tube and Westfield Stratford shopping centre. Dustin was really kind and professional. Thank you!
Thank you for staying with us and we look forward to welcoming you back next year!
Fantastic location, wonderful place
We had a great stay at this beautiful, well-furnished flat within walking distance of the West Ham underground stop and a short bus trip to the Plaistow stop. It’s in a quiet residential neighborhood with a small grocery store just around the corner. The flat had everything we needed, including fast, reliable WiFi, a dining table that fit our family of five, comfortable beds, and a well-outfitted kitchen—a great “home base” from which we could explore London for a few days.
Fantastic Property and Great Location
Great location for a visit to London. We stayed for a weekend to attend an event at the London Stadium, within easy walking distance of the property. The house was a great size and very well appointed. Dustin was a very accommodating host with very good communication throughout our booking.
Great host , very helpful , when the front door shut behind us and we left the keys inside . thanks
Great location for tubes and nice to have few things in like tea, coffee, sugar .
Great weekend .
East London is the cultural heartland of London, with a wonderful heritage comprised of a mix of all the city's migrant communities. The borough is proudly the most mixed and diverse in the city and is experiencing a resurgence after hosting the London 2012 Olympics. From the Stratford Westfield Mall and Olympic Park, to Epping Forest, the sleek Docklands and its financial district to the thriving art quarters of Hoxton and Spitalfields, there's something here for everyone!
