perfect holidays

The appartment was exactly as described with all facilities/equipment you might need during your holidays. The Alfama district is full of local restaurants with great simple/ local food, Fado you can hear when walking the small streets in the evening , local bakeries with fresh bread in the morning, if you appreciate all those little things this is perfect place for you. It is also great location for further trips to explore Portugal- car parking is close by, underground/train station are also very close. Last but not least - I have never experienced better customer service and I have stayed in many appartments / towns around Europe. It was far more than expected starting from our arrival when flight was delayed and check in was very late in the night, through list of recommendations what to see and where to eat in Lisbon (each place was great choice for us and we would not get to all of them without the guidance), till departure day with all help offered.

Remedios II - 2nd visit

This was our 2nd visit to Remedios II. It is a lovely comfortable apartment in Alfama which is very handy for restaurants, transport etc. The apartment was very clean and the shower was very good. We didn't cook as it was so cheap to eat out. It I s very easy to get to the beach if you want a day out - 45 minutes or maximum 1 hr. We liked Cascais and Estoril. We visited Porto on a day trip, a long day but do able. The indoor food hall is fantastic for food. We really enjoyed Lisbon and look forward to returning. Heart and Soul were very helpful and kind during our stay and we would definitely return to one of their apartments.

Amazing apartment, great value and wonderful staff

The property is a great value for money. Very spacious apartment, with all the amenities you might need on holiday.

Great views from all sides. Balcony on the main bedroom has a amazing view over Alfama down to the river and the other side has a wonderful view onto one of the quaint cobbled winding streets.

This is a very clean apartment with modern furnishings in a lovely old apartment.

The staff are wonderful and give amazing tips on days out around Lisbon upon your check in. Listen to them! They told us about some amazing activities and little markets which we loved. Especially the flea market that was just 5 minutes up the road. This is the kind of service that you would never get from a hotel.

Highly recommended.

We will definitely book again when we return.

Charming stay in December

We were two families - 7 people - decided to see the New 2016 in Lisbon, and we were right! Our whole stay was nice and full of new impressions. We arrived late at night, but without any problems with keys and checking, booking a taxi from airport, which drive us right in front of the apartment, even the street is small and closed for cars. The location of the apartment is in Alfama, close to San Antonio train, metro and bus stations and still a walking distance from main attractions, except Belem. Many small groceries and wine shops around, working till late at night, supermarket in the train station building. The street was animated but quiet and very safe.

The apartment was very clean, well stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, etc. , nice kitchen, equipped with all necessary appliances. No lift, second floor! Electric heaters in the rooms, but we almost never used as the weather was very mild and sunny. The checking was quick, we were given information about apartment, attractions and transportation (if you intend to walk around the city better use zapping card with multiple travels). Safe reservation, payment, everything for a good customer service, would appreciate a small town map.

Many charming small restaurants and fado around, pleasant weather in December/January, interesting atmosphere with all these old buildings, small streets up and down the hill.

Our whole stay In Lisbon was a wonderful experience and a big part of it was our stay at the Remedios I apartment. We would recommend the apartment and may be one day we will visit it again!

Perfect place from which to explore Lisbon

This was our first visit to Portugal and we were very impressed. The apartment was clean and modern with a wonderful view over the River Tagus. We arrived late in the evening but a .key had been left for us and we received a friendly and very helpful reception punctually the next morning. Lisbon is hilly and cobbled, so not ideal for people with mobility problems but other than that the location was perfect - the apartment is in the old quarter of Alfama and it was full of life. It was a pleasure to wander the streets in the evenings and visit the fado bars and shops. The nearest metro station was only a few hundred yards away and was also a mainline station. Lisbon has cheap and efficient public transport (especially if you buy a Viva Viagem card (like an Oyster card) from one of the machines in the stations when you arrive). During our week we walked around Alfama, Baixa and Belem, visited the Gulbenkian museum, went along the coast by train to Cascais, visited Sintra by train and Evora by coach and also took a high-speed train to Oporto for the day, all of which made for a very picturesque, varied and interesting holiday. Eating out is also good value and English is widely spoken. We were possibly very lucky but our November holiday had perfect sightseeing weather - blue skies from 7.00 am, not a cloud in sight and up to about 24 degrees in the afternoon. We would definitely recommend this for people who like city breaks.

Se enjoyed the location in Alfama, the equipment

The apartment was very clean. It had all the equipment mentioned in the add. We had a warm welcome. We were given a lot of informations about Lisbonne that we appreciated.

It is a street very lively it was noisy at times but so closed to the Metro.

I would recommend it.

Less than 5 min from all kind of transports!

- Santa Apolonia Metro/Train Station (5 min), bus stop (5 min) with lines to airport, Belem, Cais do Sodre (that serves Cascais), Expo area, modern centre... and of course, close (6 min) to the famous 28 electric tram.

The street of the apartments is closed to traffic but taxis can enter and leave you at the door. There's a parking nearby in front of Santa Apolonia station (6 euros for 24h)
