About PHIL DENNIS
I was very lucky to be born in Broadstairs and I have lived here all my life. I am a retired builder now and I have recently lovingly restored this unique cottage to it's former glory. I now manage The Fishermen's Cottages full time and have been in the hospitality trade for over 20 years now. I fell in love with this cottage when I was renovating it and I now have great pleasure in managing this cottage and 3 other cottages that are on this web site. I really enjoy making sure that all of our customers have a great stay, with 5 star customer care! If you want to know the best restaurants, pubs or beaches to visit then just let me know and I'll be happy to assist. I'm always here to help! I have understood what everyone is looking for and number one is cleanliness which is at the top of our list. We will work hard to ensure that your stay here in Broadstairs is both comfortable and enjoyable so hopefully you'll want to return again!

Great place with a great kitchen for our family of 4. Loved being right near everything in town.
Thank you so much for your 5 Star review.

Lovely cottage in a great location
Spent a great long weekend in this lovely cottage . The cottage itself is spread over 4 floors with the large and well equipped kitchen in the basement . The kingsize double bed was lovely and comfortable. The whole cottage was very well decorated and immaculately clean .Location was great, a stones throw from the beach and round the corner from numerous bars and restaurants. The owner Phil emailed detailed instructions on how to get to the cottage and even went to the trouble of sending revised ones because of current road works . These were definitely welcome as we would have struggled otherwise. Would return for sure and definitely recommend.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write us such a positive review.
We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at he cottage and we look forward to you booking again with us in the future.

Great little cottage, a perfect retreat for a winter break!
No 2 Union Square is tucked away in the old part of Broadstairs, a stone's throw from the seafront, the harbour, the beach and all the shops, pubs, tearooms and restaurants - all within close walking distance. Although parking was not immediately outside the cottage it was not an issue as we could load outside and park up close by. The cottage was great - quirky and different, but very comfortable, clean and cosy with all the mod cons you could want. Plenty to do in the town itself, and lots of interesting places to visit nearby as well as great walks along the seafront in both directions. Thank you Beverley for your help and making our stay so pleasant. We will definitely book again!

Lovely quirky house in a perfect position in the middle of Broadstairs.
We enjoyed our stay at 2 Union Square. The house is perfectly positioned in the centre of Broadstairs. There are 2 beaches and a different resurant for every day of the week just a short walk away. The house is old and quirky and full of character. The spiral stairs are steep so don’t bring your granny. The accommodation is good and the house is warm and cosy. We had everything we needed and will definitely book again.

The cottage is within easy reach of several Blue Flag beaches, local shops, restaurants and wine bars. It is tucked away in an idyllic courtyard yet still close to all the amenities Broadstairs has to offer. The perfect bolthole for a wonderful holiday!

If shopping is your pleasure, drive out to the new Shopping Centre at Westwood Cross, just five minutes' away, where you will find a large selection of shops and a department store.
If you enjoy the outdoor life, then take a walk along the Viking Coastal Trail or visit historic Canterbury only 30 minutes' away by car or train.

You will be guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome whenever you come to Broadstairs. This picturesque town has a special atmosphere all of its own. Originally a small fishing hamlet, the town's ancient maritime past is nowhere more clearly seen, than in the huddle of cottages, old customs house & 16th century weather-boarded boat house which nestles around the harbour.
