Your apartment is tastefully furnished and decorated with paintings specially commissioned to reflect surroundings of this very natural and sensitively landscaped countryside. It includes a double bedroom with king size bed, a bathroom with shower cubicle, a comfortable open plan living area (including 2 x sofa beds, tv, coffee table etc) with kitchen and indoor dining table set to one side, and a large terrace with dining furniture from where you can enjoy some truly spectacular sunsets whilst dining al fresco. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas, with seating and tables, just a few minutes walk from the property.
Our rural beach which adjoins the apartment grounds offers a mix of sand, stone and rock, and is set among the natural landscape. Sun loungers and parasols can be hired to make your time by the seashore comfortable and relaxing, and if you are adventurous try snorkelling here to discover a wonderful underwater world of colourful fish of many varieties.
The location of this property gives a sense of peaceful tranquillity while still being within easy access of amenities and leisure activities at just 10-15 min’s drive. Tennis courts can be hired right next to the apartment grounds entrance, and an aqua park providing a fun filled day for all the family lies very close by. Shops and supermarkets, restaurants, historical monuments, boat excursions, diving schools, horse riding, and a variety of small coves and popular beaches are all in the vicinity, and a warm river with a hot spring spa treatment centre can be found 22 km inland.
Your holiday home is offered as self-catering but eating out is not a problem with a short car drive. There are many restaurants to choose from and most offer traditional Sardinian sea food dishes, other local delicacies as well as pasta and pizzas for those who know what they like!
Wild Sardinia! Your destination is truly idyllic - the Costa Rossa is known for its crystal clear seas, panoramic coastal views and incredible natural beauty, including sandy beaches (one of them 8km long), pine-clad hills and unusual red rocks. The cottage-apartments are set in a naturally beautiful location where unspoilt Mediterranean vegetation meets the craggy blue sea.
Day trips and interesting places to visit abound. La Marinedda beach with its white sand, cafes and ice creams, is just a walk over the headland, and a further hike along the coastline brings you to the quaint fishing town of Isola Rossa with its tourist shops, scuba diving centre, 16th century Spanish tower and a town beach with all amenities conveniently on hand. Boat trips can also be arranged from here. Both destinations are a few km’s by car if you prefer to drive. Alternatively walk over the mountain in the opposite direction from the apartments to discover the beach at Tinnari - an adventurous hike for the fit and active!
Castelsardo, a drive south, is a colourful town positioned below a massive escarpment with a castle on top. Near here is the famous Elephant Rock, a large granite rock sculpted by the mistral winds into its namesake’s shape. Badesi Mare boasts one of the longest sandy beaches in the area and the town of Badesi itself is renown for wine making and offers many cantinas to taste its rewards. Be sure drive inland to see the Valle della Luna, a natural landscape featuring a valley reminiscent of the moon’s surface; visit Monte Pulchiana, the largest granite monolith in Sardinia and recorded as a natural monument; and discover the many nuraghe (ancient stone-built dwellings) that are scattered throughout the countryside.
Hiking, biking, relaxing, sea-swimming and exploring in the clean fresh air makes this destination the greatest place to unwind for your perfect vacation.

I've kept a blog since 2006, with pictures and things that I have done in Sardinia with my family. This includes trips to hidden beaches and interesting places - we like to live like the locals when we're out there. I will gladly share this with you.
