The renowned wine making town of Badesi, with its cantinas and gourmet delights, backs on to one of the longest beaches on the island with lovely, fine white sand.
Situated near to Isola Rossa in the Trinita' D'Agultu region, the area offers the best of unspoiled Sardinia in all its wild glory! As well as access to the adjacent beach, footpaths lead over the headland to the renowned Marinnedda Beach and Isola Rossa town. Day trips to Castelsardo, a small town with a castle on a cliff towering above, Monte Pulchiana offering interesting sights such as the largest granite monolith in Sardinia, Stazzi di Gallura, Nuraghe (ancient Sardinian dwellings) and the Tombe Dei Giganti (The Giant's Tombs - other ancient dwellings), Santa Teresa di Gallura in the Gulf of Asinari, La Maddalena Archipelago, Stintino, Alghero, Costa Smeralda and Orgosolo. Along the coast there are numerous naturally sculpted granite structures, including one in the form of an elephant! All give you even further opportunity to explore this wonderful Italian island.
Getting There Most airlines offer numerous routes to Sardinia, especially into Olbia and Alghero airports, both of which are within easy reach of our property at approx 85 km away (50 miles). Cagliari Airport is 254 km away (150 miles), should that be more convenient for your point of departure.
Getting AroundWe consider a car is essential to access local amenities and fully explore all that this beautiful part of Sardinia has to offer.
