Outside: Playa Verde is a superior built apartment block and the penthouse apartment offers top quality accommodation and an expansive outdoor area. The stunning 5th floor terrace incorporates fabulous views (255 sq metres of terracing) of the beach and sea, marina and wetlands and is the perfect place for a family or group to relax after a day enjoying the island and neighbourhood. A great area to cook and entertain with its fantastic views coupled with the ability to dip into your own private hot tub and enjoy the comfortable outdoor furniture, gardens, outdoor kitchen and eating area. The apartment facilities continue with its communal swimming pools and gardens and paddle ball ‘tennis like’ courts. The swimming pools are open from middle of June to the middle/end of September and are manned by a life guard. The terrace is equipped with a top of the range outdoor kitchen with rotisserie and fridge to maximise your alfresco living experience.

We bought this property because of the location to the beach and also proximity to Portugal as well as Spain. We always wanted somewhere for all of our family to enjoy holidays. We have 3 children and now 2 grandchildren and we just love to all meet up there when we can. The views really do have to be seen to be believed. Traditional Spanish Town Ayamonte with wonderful fresh and local produce.

What makes this apartment unique

The lovely Spanish lifestyle and traditional family values.

The huge terrace with hot tub is sheer luxury and the al fresco lifestyle we adopt when we arrive is unique

The beach on our doorstep. Great little beach bars and restaurants.

This is a great luxury penthouse to stay in and a lovely area of Spain.

Wonderful beaches, great promenade and super terrace at the flat to enjoy the amazing sunsets and sunrises!!

Spacious and clean with good support

The apartment is as good as it looks. Lots of space and comfortable. The support from Colin while we were there was excellent, he was certainly there to help. A very nice place for a family holiday.

Fantastic apartment with a stunning terrace and views

The island of Isla Canela is beautiful as is the whole region of Huelva and the apartment is situated in a position that allows you to get a panoramic view of the whole area. The main apartment building is accessed via electronic gates and is beautifully maintained and includes an underground parking space.

Once you get to the 5th floor via the lifts and open the apartment door you immediately know that this is going to be something special. The inside is very welcoming and is beautifully decorated and appointed.

You are met with views out to sea through the glass patio doors that lead out from the kitchen to the terrace and it is the terrace that is truly jaw dropping. The size of the terrace is what unbelievable but it is the views that take your breath away, it really is something special. The terrace has everything you could need and has a lovely feel to it, it is a fantastic space to eat in and enjoy and really makes this an unforgettable place.

It has great bars and restaurants in the area and it is very much the authentic Spain. The marina area is lovely as is the village of Isla Canela, I really cant say enough about it!!

A special thanks also to Natalie and Colin who met us when we arrived and were so helpful with information and explanation of the apartment. They were also just a call away if there was anything we needed during the stay.

This is a place I would definitely go back to and the apartment I think is the best you will find.

Lastly i would like to thank Jan, the owner, who was also really helpful in the lead up and came back almost immediately with help and information.

I will certainly be back.

Penthouse Paradise

This was our second stay in this wonderful apartment and, once again, we were not disappointed. We were celebrating a family wedding and the extensive patio area was a perfect place to meet, eat and have fun.

The apartment is well-appointed and extremely comfortable. Everything we needed was right there and we had a very relaxing week.

On the Spanish Algarve, close to excellent golf courses. Within reach of Portugese Algarve and Seville. Great base to explore the southern coast of both Spain and Portugal together with magnificent accomodation set in the peaceful beauty of Isla Canela. A special experience.

Golf: Some superb golf courses are found in the immediate area. The penthouse is some twenty minutes from the new prestigious Jack Nicklaus signature golf and country club at Monte Rei. The club is being marketed as one of the finest international golf courses in Europe. Close by is another superb golf course designed by Seve Ballesteros, at Quinta de Vale. The course opens to the public in October 2007 and is a stunning course. The island of Isla Canela has its own golf course, its an ideal course to start your holiday and a challenge to golfers at all levels. Other excellent courses in the locality include El Rompido, Neuvo Porto in Spain and across the bridge in Portugal there are the further courses of Quinta da Ria, Quinta de Cima and Castro Marim.
