About Rose Atkinson
Although these cottages have been in our family for over 100 years, we have only just taken them over to run as holiday homes. My mum set off with them as holiday homes in 1991 and ran them very successfully until her death in 2012. My husband David and I live in the village with our two girls and we are always on hand to answer any questions or advise on which pubs to eat in, or where to get the best views on a walk! We are working hard to get the cottages and outside areas up to a very high standard and are both enjoying the challenge that all this has brought into our lives. We hope you like the look of your properties enough to book with us, and we can welcome you into our little haven in the glorious Yorkshire Dales. Rose Atkinson

Beautiful, quiet, comfortable renovated cottage with all you need for a stay in the Yourkshire dales
The owners Rose and David couldn't have been more accommodating. The cottage has been renovated to a high standard and is extremely comfortable within a short walking distance to town and a drive to many interesting things nearby. I would recommend highly a stay in Turbine cottage.
A little gem
The cottage was absolutely fabulous. Rosie has overseen a stunning refurbishment of the property. An ideal location on the edge of the village. A doggie paradise, ours loved the many walks and opportunity to swim in the beck and Swale. Will definitely be visiting again.
quiet and very well furnished
ideally located to tour the dales.

Excellent, a little concerned about the weather, as it had been snowing but it didn't dryer us
Lovely property homely, the log fire was very inviting after being out in the elements, wonderful shower comfy beds , the owners are exceptional and approachable, we will be back and have no hesitation recommending turbine house to friends .
Thank you for your wonderful review! Really pleased you enjoyed your stay at Turbine House and hope to welcome you back soon.
Thank you for choosing our cottage for your stay in the Dales.
great cottage, great location
The cottage was cosy and well equipped. We especially liked the location - close to the river, close to the centre of the village, walks from the front door. Parking was easy, there was somewhere to exercise the dog morning and evening and it suited the three of us (and the dog) very well. Reeth has everything needed day to day as well as being very attractive.
