Borthwen Farmhouse, set within over an acre of grounds on the coast, has a high specification interior. It has a spacious kitchen, inglenook fireplace and AGA, large living area with wood burning stove and a spacious sun room with uninterrupted views over the countryside. Also on the ground floor is a bedroom and shower room/utility. On the first floor are two large double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, a single bunk bedroom, and another double room next to the family bathroom. Outside is enclosed with driveway and parking area, patio area with BBQ, table and chairs and lawn.

Notes:
A Conservatory / Sun Room links with the lounge and seats an additional 5 people it also includes a further dinning table with an additional four chairs and others distributed around the premises. A seperate utility room housing the washing machine and tumble dryer along with a drying rack and sink (ideal for rinsing salty clothes) proves to be an exellent facility, following those long days on the beach. The site also offers a three acre field ideal for games of all types.

The coastal and countryside views from Borthwen Farmhouse are fantastic. In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the property is just a two minute walk from the sandy beach with its rock pools and coastal footpath that leads to other coves and bays. The award winning Blue Flag beach at Church Bay is a few coves along with the infamous seafood restaurant, The Lobster Pot, Wavecrest café and Church Bay Inn. The village of Llanfaethlu provides a local shop, café and a little fish and chip takeaway. For larger shops, Holyhead is just seven miles away and provides a great starting point for trips to Dublin too.

Golf: The Isle of Anglesey Golf Pass

Seasoned golfers as well as novices are invariably impressed by the quality of courses available on Anglesey. There are nine courses within a short distance of each other, set amongst exceptional scenery to be enjoyed year round. The Isle of Anglesey Golf Pass offers the holder a total of 5 rounds of golf to be played at any of the following Golf Clubs: Anglesey, Baron Hill, Bull Bay, Henllys Hall and Holyhead.

Please note a security deposit is required for all booking. It is £200 which is refundable after your stay if the property is left in good order. Information is set out within the Conditions of Hire when you book.

The deposit of 50% of the price of the holiday is required within 7 days of the initial booking, and the balance will be due at least 30 days prior to the start of your holiday. The total cost of the holiday is to be paid if the booking is less than 30 days from the start date of your holiday.
Payment is to be made by cheque, by inter-bank transfer or online by credit or debit card.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 7 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
