It was newly built 9 years ago and is 2 minutes from the beach. The property is well maintained and looks like new! Satellite English and Spanish TVs are in the property. Washing machine with outside drying area. Pretty Spanish floor tiles throughout. Own private parking space. Gas and electric cooking. On site supermarket with Fruit Veg and Bakery shops. Clean and Pretty large Private communal swimming pool gated with key for guests. Child's play area nearby. 5 minutes by car to La-Manga Strip offering top class restaurants, bars, night clubs and the best sporting facilities. The villa is fully cleaned prior to arrival and the beds are made up ready. The kitchen is well equipped. It is a fully equipped family home!!

Local Train service nearby which gives you access to Cartegena where you can then get a train to Murcia, Barcelona, Valencia, Malaga and much more!

Excellent home for family holiday

Four generations of my family stayed in this lovely holiday home in February 2014. The house is well-described here, with excellent facilities and equipment, very clean and tidy. Beds were made up for our arrival, and we were made to feel very welcome by a local lady who met us with the keys. The beds are very comfortable, the house feels very secure, and is just a couple of minutes' walk from the nearest beach. We had sunshine nearly every day of our stay, and although the evenings were cool once the sun went down, there were mobile heaters available for us to use. There is an excellent supermarket just four minutes' walk from the house, past the children's playground, and plenty of parking at the house on or off road. The kitchen is well equipped with gas hob and electric full-size oven, plus a microwave, cooker and kettle, giving us plenty of scope to make meals when we wanted to - and plenty of local restaurants available during the daytime and evening where we mainly ate at lunchtimes. A washing machine on the back patio was very useful (we had a five-year-old with us) and clothes dried well in the sunshine. It is a real home-from-home, and we hope to be back soon.

Pour une première expérience de location via internet, le choix au hasard de cette maisonnette a été très heureux : pièces spacieuses et lumineuses, literie confortable, immenses placards, cuisine bien équipée, bref, nous nous sommes immédiatement à l'aise, comme chez nous. La plage la plus proche, à 50 mètres, donne sur la mer mineure, idéale pour les enfants et les personnes qui ne savent pas nager car on y a pied longtemps. Une demi-heure de marche permet d'accéder à une plage sur la Méditerranée, les deux bénéficiant du drapeau bleu pour leur qualité des eaux et du label qualité pour leur propreté. Cette maison est donc idéalement placée. Confort, propreté et localisation pratique, que demander de plus?

Owner's Response: For a first experience of renting via the internet, the random selection of this house was very happy: bright and spacious rooms, comfortable beds, huge closets, fully equipped kitchen, in short, we were immediately at ease and at home . The nearest beach, 50 meters, overlooking the minor sea, ideal for children and people who can not swim because there are foot long. A half hour walk provides access to a beach on the Mediterranean, both benefiting from the Blue Flag for their water quality and the quality label for their cleanliness. This house is ideally placed. Comfort, cleanliness and convenient location, what more?

Hätte schön sein können...

Nachdem der Transfer vom Flughafen Alicante super geklappt hat und wir freudig am Haus ankamen war die Enttäuschung erstmal groß. Wir vermúten, dass wir die ersten Urlauber in diesem Jahr waren, denn es stank fürchterlich in dem Haus. Also Fenster und Türen auf und lüften.... dachten wir. Der Gestank hielt sich viele Tage und nachdem wir am gleichen Abend drei kakerlaken entdeckt und entfernt haben war klar woher der Geruch stammt. Abendliche Kakerlaken Entfernung war normal. Im Vorfeld fragten wir den Vermieter, ob WLan vorhanden sei, er bejahte dies - das stimmt auch, allerdings in dem Restaurant zwei Straßen weiter. Da dachten wir noch an ein Kommunikationsproblem, doch spätenstens als wir den Fernseher einschalten und feststellten, dass entgegen der Aussage kein Empfang deutscher Kanäle vorhanden war, fühlten wir uns richtig verar.....! Mittlerweile ist dies in der Beschreibung angepasst. Der Pool ist nur durch ein verschlossenes Tor zu erreichen und der Pool ist außer Sichtweite, man muss dafür um die Straße herumlaufen und ein großes Metalltor öffnen - für kleinere Kinder also nicht möglich ohne Begleitung. Der Strand vom Mar Menor ist wirklich nur 70 m entfernt, dort gibt es kleinere Bars und Caffees. Der Supermarkt vor Ort ist vorhanden, mit kleinem Angebot aber sehr guter Fleischtheke. Es gibt in 6.0 km Entfernung auf La Mange ein Aldi. Es gibt keine Kaffeemaschine im Haus, der Backofen war defekt. Wenn man diesen benutzen wollte flog die Sicherung raus. Der Toaster war defekt und funktionierte gar nicht. Der Wasserkocher voller Kalk, aber funktionsfähig. An den unteren Betten ist das Kopfteil nur dran gestellt, das Bett selbst ist eigentlich ein einfaches Metallbett (Campingbett?) - wir können es nicht besser beschreiben. Insoweit trifft hier die Beschriebung zumindest auf das Kopfteil zu. Liegestühle gab es auch, einer brach direkt auseinander, einen weiteren haben wir uns dann nicht mehr getraut zusammenzuklappen. An den Strandschirmen fehlten die Bodenschraube, so dass wir diese selbst vor Ort gekauft haben. Hervorzuheben sind die sehr freundlichen Nachbarn rechts und links, beides Einheimische und sehr hilfsbereit und liebenswürdig. Ein Auto vor Ort ist dringend empfehlenswert. Mal eben nach La Manga laufen dauert ca. 45 min. Mit Gepäck bei 38° - 40° kaum zu Fuß zu bewältigen mit zwei Kindern.

Owner's Response: My house has been a little used family home for the past 10 x years and is as new condition. We use it as a happy family home with lovley memories. This guest was not the first guest this year. It was fully cleaned and inspected prior to arrival of this guest by my keyholder John with whom lives close by. Cockroaches are sometimes seen in Spain in the hight of the summer so that is quite normal and they are harmless. Wifi is free and available in the local bars around the corner and the suppermarket. The pool is free but young children must be accompanied for safety reasons. A key to this gated area is given to all guests for use of the pool. It is gated so it is only used by paying guests and for there comfort. The oven was not broken and the kettle and tooster was replaced straight away when reported. The beds in Spain are not camp beds as the guest stated but they are metal framed with large thick mattresses, this is normal in Spain and more hygenic. You can park directly outside the house and there is an extra parking space provided by the pool. I am sorry this guest was not totally satisifed but feel some of the comments are unjustified. I rent this Villa out on average only about 8-10 weeks a year to keep it in new condition and being my second family home. I have never had any complaints before! My Keyholder John who lives in Playa Parasio, Spain has sent me the following response to the above comments from my Guest:- That renter was not happy from the start because of no wifi and no German tv. I think your reply was excellent. There were no cockroaches there. There was also no smell. I entered with them as I picked them up from the airport and then showed them round the house. I was also there the next day for a while trying to sort out the tv and again no smell. Cockroaches do not cause smells. I have some houses where checking on them and airing them is not part of the contract and when I go in after a couple of months there can be quite a few cockroaches and no smell. Paraiso area has very few cockroaches. And where was she coming from re parking space as they did not have a car. Also I think luggage would be bags with the loose google translation and of course it's hot in Spain in July !!! A shame she did not comment on the positives of your house and strange that she added the comment 7 months after staying! And a complete contrast from the previous renters comments Thank you for reading this. Regards Chris

The property is 1 minute to the sandy beach of Playa Parasio on the Mar Menor. The beach in the summer has beach bars with Tapas and drinks. You can also have a short walk along the beach to the local caravan park where the bar and restaurant is adjacent to the beach offering Tapas, excellent Food Menu and Entertainment nights not to be missed! It is also 5 minutes to La-Manga strip by car, or you can walk to La-Manga along the beach. La-Manga offers 13 x miles of Shops, Bars and Restaurants. The famous Golf Course is also minutes away. There are local resort bars and restaurants with a supermarket 3 minutes walk away. Cartegena is 30 minutes by car and Murcia Airport only 20 minutes. There are lovely walks to local beaches of Cabo Reona, Cabo de Palos, Calblanque and La-Manga. The capital of Murcia is 50 minutes by car. The Los-Nietos train to Cartegena is very near which takes you through the pretty mining villages and towns. . Torrevieja, Alicante and Benidorm are easily accessible. New Playa-Parasio resort Sports Center built with many facilities including Gym, Tennis, Basket Ball, Football and much more!!. Finally a bar to relax after.
