The flat is on the lower ground floor of a 17th Century Georgian townhouse situated in a small cul-de-sac leading to the church. It is a semi –basement, with its own entrance and is fully self-contained (approx 850 sq ft).
Access is through the main gate into the courtyard. There is a lockbox located next to the front door down a small set of steps. As you enter you are greeted by the hall which leads into the sitting room, which is comfortably furnished with two sofa's (one being a sofa bed) wood floor, TV with SKY and WiFi throughout.
The Kitchen is large and airy, with a table for 6, granite worktops, slate floor with underfloor heating and stable door access to a small patio, with a small table and 2 chairs outside the door for our guests to use. We stock our cupboards with cereals, jams, tea, and coffee, alongside a Welcome Breakfast Pack.
Modern fully tiled bathroom with overhead shower and bath with glass screen. There is a separate WC with hand basin. The bedroom has a double bedroom (5ft bed) with ample hanging and storage space, fitted with good quality bed linen and towels.
We are no more than a 5 minute walk from Putney Bridge Station and only a few minutes from two lovely parks and the Thames. Fulham and Putney are great areas full of local events, great food and drink locations and much more! A perfect location for Wimbledon Tennis, The Hurlingham Club, Chelsea flower show and Aegon Tennis.
My husband and I stayed two weeks at Annie and Andrew's
flat in early February. The flat is well appointed and breakfast foods were waiting for us in the refrigerator upon our early arrival. Annie welcomed us and offered to answer any questions we may have during our stay.
Location, location, location! We had access to tube station, several bus stops, and within walking distance to River Thames and parks.
Annie and Andrew answered all of our questions prior and during our stay in a prompt fashion.
I would recommend this flat 100% and we hope to return soon.
We recently returned from a great 6-night stay in Annie and Andrew's apartment. From day #1 through our final day, we felt welcome and enjoyed this fabulous flat. We only wish we had more time to enjoy the flat and to have been there during the warmer season when we could have also enjoyed the garden. The flat is clean, spacious, comfortable, and peaceful. It is well appointed and has much natural light. Annie made the reservation process easy and her instructions for finding the flat upon our arrival were clear. Be sure to read the resource book in the apartment. It is a great neighborhood. We enjoyed the recommendations for neighborhood activities and restaurants. The flat is conveniently located to the Tube and bus station.
My wife and I have just returned from 9 days in Annie and Andrew's great apartment. We have stayed in London many times over the past and no other apartment has equaled this one. It is in a safe and quiet area just minutes from the tube, stores, pubs and the Thames. The apartment is equipped with every thing you will need to make your stay complete. Annie and Andrew are extremely nice and available to supply any help you might need. Transportation is very convenient, you can easily get to Heathrow Airport and just about anywhere in central London with just 1 connection on the tube. The highest compliment we can make for this apartment is that before we left for home we made a reservation for 2018.
Our stay was only 3 nights, which was much too short. This is a beautiful apartment, just as described on-line. An amazing complete kitchen & all the appliances you will need. Very quiet and comfortable. Annie, the owner, lives above and is available to assist and solve your problems. Less than 5 minutes walk to the Tube, easy access to central London, and great places to eat and drink in the immediate Fulham neighborhood. We hope to return some day. One of the best tourist apartments we have ever stayed in.
Our second stay in this stunning garden apartment, so close to transport, restaurants, shops and walks along the Thames and through Fulham Palace Gardens. The flat is so comfortable and well equipped, and Annie and Andrew were as charming as ever. We hope we can make this our London base again next year!

The flat is a 5 minute walk from Putney Tube Station with excellent bus services into central London., situated by the River Thames and Bishops Park and wonderfully positioned for Theatre trips and Restaurants. Wimbledon is only two stops from Putney Bridge Station. Across the Bridge lies Putney where there is a multi screen Cinema, all local and High Street shops with a choice of over 20 Restaurants of every Nationality
Golf: Wimbledon and Richmond Park.
