About Tony Burch
I'm a retired Veterinary surgeon and live with my wife Audrey at Park Farm. We have 4 children whom are scattered around the world. The farm supports my flock of 30 sheep and 6 livery horses.
Tony Burch purchased this House in 1997
Why Tony Burch chose Blandford Forum
We converted Randypole cottage in 1998 from former Shire horse stabling into a beautiful 3 bedroom house retaining many of the original features.
What makes this House unique
Randypole cottage is set on our small 25 acre farming the heart of Dorset on the edge of the famous thatched village of Milton Abbas. There are unspoilt views to the Dorset coast and the Isle of Wight across rolling countryside. The village boasts a good pub/restaurant and a post office. One and a half miles away at the other end of the village is the imposing and beautiful Milton Abbey and school, the grounds of which were designed by Caperbility Brown.

Lovely Family Weekend
We recently spent the Easter weekend at this lovely comfortable cottage. Unfortunately the weather was rubbish but the cottage was warm and welcoming and was well equipped with all that we needed, including an endless supply of logs for the wood burner. There were lots of lambs and my granddaughter loved feeding the orphaned ones with a bottle. The cottage is set in the middle of the beautiful Dorset countryside and is farely central for travelling to any part of the county.
I would have given this cottage 5 stars but it was let down by the description of a child's bed. This turned out to be a large cot type bed with immovable sides. My 6 yr old granddaughter would not sleep there and we ended up taking the mattress out and she slept on the floor.
I'm sure we will return to this cottage.
Charming, quiet countryside retreat
We had a fantastic time here and would love to come back :)
