Stunning cottage in beautiful town .
Loved every minute of our stay and will defiantly be returning.
Excellent location, everything needed was supplied and easy to find. Owners left us some generous "starter" food supplies and a much appreciated bottle of wine.
Prime Spot in Burford
Excellent spot as a base for exploring The Cotswolds and plenty to eat and drink on the doorstep. Cosy but roomy enough The Snug is perfect for two. Well equipped, the only thing we thought it might need is a couple of hooks about the place, especially in the bathroom so that says how good it is.
Spooky - we must have heard you, have just put hooks on the back of the door in the bathroom!!
Ideal get away
We stayed in The Snug for a 3 night stay. We loved it. The location is excellent. Lots of places to eat and drink. We went for a lovely walk (5 mile) and a trip out to Stow and Bourton on the water.
The snug it self is very comfortable. It was bigger than I expected. The kitchen is very well equipped (we ate in for 2 nights). We loved the reclining sofa ! The bed was also very comfy. A nice spacious bathroom with a good shower. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Thank you so much for such a lovely review, means a lot to know that people have enjoyed themselves at 152. Sally
A fantastic cottage in a beautiful area with everything we needed.
Arrived late on a Thursday evening to find milk, butter and jam in fridge. A fresh loaf and a bottle of cava, and also an easter egg for myself and hubby and special chocs for our dogs, and not forgetting the homemade shortcake bunny biscuits.
Very quaint and tastefully decorated. Bed very comfortable.
Lovely enclosed garden.
It was only a 15minute drive to our family in Kingham, so will be back.
The Snug was clean, cosy and pretty well equipped (it still needs a bathroom mirror!).
The owners left us sparkling wine, artisan bread, home baked biscuits and the essentials to get us started. All very much appreciated - thank you very much.
We were the only people staying in any of the five properties on this site, so we had the place to ourselves which was lovely and peaceful. We did wonder how it would feel if all the other properties were occupied.
Burford is a busy, bustling little town - we never managed to park at the side of the road - we used the public car park at the edge of the town, which was fine for us.
It was a shame that we had to share the small wardrobe in the bedroom with a mop and bucket and the ironing board when there was a laundry/boiler room next door.
An essential information booklet would have been helpful. Also a guest book would have been nice, I enjoy reading previous guests comments and suggestions for places to eat and visit.
